    Welcome Liloandstitch.

SH - My eldest daughter woke up today with a temperature and a slight cough, rang the doctors this morning to make an appointment for next week for myself and I asked the Receptionist about her temp and she called me back to say that 38.6 was high and to keep an eye on it, it went down to 37.4 but then shot back up to 39.6 so I rang back and they got the nurse to call me back but she only had 2 of the Swine Flu symptoms so told me to keep an eye on the temp and if it isn't better by tomorrow to ring back and they will give me Tamiflu for her, she said that it hasn't really been tested on young children (DD is 5) so am hoping she doesn't need it as I've heard there can be nasty side affects.

If she wakes up will have to give her more Calpol as I was told to give Calpol every 4 hours and two hours after the calpo to give liquid nurofen so am doing that to keep her temp down.

No debt busting going on at the moment, I think I'm holding off until after my brothers wedding next month. Also it's the Next sale this Saturday and I love going there at the crack of dawn and grabbing lots of bargains, although am trying my hardest to tell myself I don't need anything and can't afford it but I might just go and get a few things for our holiday.

Sold a few things on Ebay tonight which is good, sold a few more than I was expecting to sell but also had to relist 28 items that didn't sell.

    Sorry it's got long.

    Morning all!

Welcome Liloandstitch :hello:. Don't lurk, come and post!
Yes, have thought of lots of ways to try to pay my student loan more efficiently, but I still think keeping where it is, is the best for the moment. I only send money over every 4months so the transfer fees don't get too big.

doodledo - fab news on moving! And nice suprise with flowers and chock.

Saving - great you got your car, hope you all get better soon and it's not swine flu. Same to TooMuch.

CAFC - what lilo said, now concentrate on finding the money for holiday, but DO enjoy it, we do need a break now and again to keep us motivated and feeling like we have a life outside debt busting.

My monthly student loan payment into separate savings a/c went today, so that's another £120 up on this challenge. :) Next month I'll break the 4K barrier! :D

 liloandstitch, its lovely to have new people joining the gang so please don't go back to lurkdom

Its Friday :j plus I'm on hols as of now :j:j:j

Been really busy at work and I'm so pleased to be having a break.

TMD & SH hope none of you or your loved ones have swine flu.

The guidance is temperature over 38 plus influenza-like illness (two or more of the following symptoms: cough; sore throat; runny nose; limb or joint pain; headache; vomiting or diarrhoea) That would be clinically diagnosed as swine flu (even though it could still be normal flu)

CAFC & PAID I like the revisiting of original post. Think I may need some padded pants if you two are going to stay playing tough:rotfl:

Doodles some fab news - when's the next hot date??

hi tmd - sorry your DD is ill - been off sick with mine today. I have a temp of 37.3 but kids are still at normal ranges so hoping that it isn't swineflu

If you get at all worried - her temp rises or she gets a rash get straightdown to hospital.... you don't want to take any risks after what happened to chloe

hi - everyone else... Still loving car....

    where is everyone?!

Hope you're all well and debt busting (or snogging Doodledo ;)) not shopping!!

I'm officially on hols, so should get time to sort thru the savings accounts etc. Know I've got to swap chunks into better rates of savings but its always such a pain in the bottom. But in the long run more money towards dream home :j
