Me, why is it always me?!
Nope I did fall in love with D&G bag and Miu Miu sunglasses but also seen lovely house that I'm off to look at next week. If I buy that I'll barely be able to afford food luckily it has large veggie patch :rolleyes:Looking for the perfect home and saving to make becoming a MFW easier

I always miss the gossip as hardly ever on the computer in the evening.
All's looking up for you Doodles, fab!
I had £30 more in my wages than normally, quite lucky as I went about £25 overdrawn last month. Not sure why I have it though, could be pay award, but last I heard, we rejected their offer. Edit: just went to the intranet to check and though we have rejected the final offer of 2.45% they've decided to pay us the final offer whilst they try to negotiate it up. Woo hoo!!! That is just such good news! That's made me happy.
Will need to update later with payments.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -
Hello :j
Following on from a post of mine called "I need a friend" a whole new "competition/challenge" was borne.
Now lots of people on this site are FANTASTIC, their motivation, upbeat nature and budgetting skills are the envy of many, and then theres a few others...
Those who for one reason or another just cant get on top of that spending diary, who always find a "better" use for that extra bit of change, and who can always find an excuse to spend a fortune in Primark (maybe thats just me)
So we need motivating, we need a regular kick up the rear to get moving and we need someone/or many people to shout at us and say STAY OUT OF PRIMARK!(again might just be me!)
Now noone is being mean by shouting at another so leave your feelings at the door with your shoes.
It takes a lot to be honest with yourself about whether or not you're doing all that you can, so I'm signing up for (well mannered) words of motivation, to see me get 15k of my outstanding debt paid off...
Day One : 17th October
CAFCGirl reporting for duty...
WHOSE WITH ME?!
I just re-read the first post of the challenge - seems so long ago when CAFC posted it up.
Right, I need to kick myself royally up the bum because I really do seem to keep on going wayward of late - I did need a new handbag, but I didn't NEED the one I bought (althought I do love it) and I definitley didn't need a netbook (although I do love that too). And I want that bloody paper hat.
I would like you all to start getting tough with me, and I mean brutal.
On another note, didn't we talk of doing a picnic a few pages back??? Anyone still game?£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)

PAID - stop buying unnecessary items and get you butt in gear!!! Ok, that's as brutal as I'm going to get....:rotfl:
I got this £30 extra in my pay and now I've found it's not the pay award, confused... As long as they haven't made a mistake and make me pay it back, I'm happy though. Just have to wait for my pay slip now to shed some more light in the matter.
Could really use that £30 though, would help me so much not to get into o/d again next month.
I'd love to come to picnic, but live too far.Have a friends BBQ this weekend, but might have to cancel as it's really far as well and next week we're off to Scotland. Haven't seen my friend for ages and soon she's going to give birth so will be busy with baby after. Just don't know if I can go without getting myself into o/d again which I really don't want.

THanks CMD,
yes, can't wait when that goes. Not sure which card to keep though. Still have 4 atm. Usually use HSBC, A&L one have never used and it's the newest. Virgin I think I'll close. And recently found out that haven't cancelled Tesco cc either. Any opinions?DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -
Hello, I am here, have a headache though over my left eye, have had it since yesterday.
I can't wait until my brothers wedding is over as when I get back I have to 'seriously' try and pay as much off my cards as possible, it's getting beyond a joke now, at least then most of the birthdays will be over, it is DD2's birthday on Monday and that is the last one until my dads in August, then my brother and mum in September.
OH's mum is remortgaging she said so then she will be able to pay him back what she owes on his credit card.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160
