Ooh I don't know which one to keep???
I hope to have my Virgin card paid off next month and will be keeping it (still have RBS one to clear) as I want to transfer some money from there into my bank account and pay off some of my loan, but only when RBS has been paid off.

I'll only have my student loan to pay after this cc is cleared so don't really need another 0% card or anything. Not really into the cashback cards as don't spend that much money that doesn't automatically come out as DD or SO. Will have a think when virgin is out of the way.
Hi TMD! Hope your headache improves during the day. My bf is suffering from his wisdom tooth atm, been quite bad for a week now so had a really quiet night last night and ended up watching Spaced.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -
Hi all. As i was late joining in this challenge and have no chance of winning the coverted paper hat
i thought i would total up everything I have paid off since the new year and keep that as my running total. I can use it then as an incentive on days when i feel i'm not getting very far.
It isn't much as we moved from up north just before christmas and i didn't get a job til march and DH still hasn't got one.
Figure in my signature now. Looks better than i thought!Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -

£235 paid off Virgin cc, second last extra payment ever! So, Paper Hat figure up and overall total down! :TNot sure which card to keep though. Still have 4 atm.too_much_debt wrote: »Hello, I am here, have a headache though over my left eye, have had it since yesterday.
I can't wait until my brothers wedding is over as when I get back I have to 'seriously' try and pay as much off my cards as possible, it's getting beyond a joke now, at least then most of the birthdays will be over, it is DD2's birthday on Monday and that is the last one until my dads in August, then my brother and mum in September.
OH's mum is remortgaging she said so then she will be able to pay him back what she owes on his credit card.

On another note, didn't we talk of doing a picnic a few pages back??? Anyone still game?I will try the brutal thing if you want but you have to stop calling me a grass! :rotfl:
Picnic - I think it would be nice to meet up - it would probably cost me £60 to get to London tho if you met there unless I managed to get a good advanced fair deal! )I probably wouldn't bring the rest of the family due to cost....Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

We may have to ponder the venue for the meeting up thing, I had thought london as I thought there were a few people scattered around London (and not because I lazily live here, honest) but am happy to do some research if we can find somewhere that we can all get to that is out of London and a wee bit cheaper for us all£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)

Morning all!
Pay day yesterday!! Had £30 more than usual, not sure why. Checked the last pay slip and my tax code has changed and the £30 was that much less tax...Hope I can keep it!
Anyway, today have allocated money to different bank accounts and even after money going to o/d, I should have £22.88 extra this month. Have transferred that to a separate bank account as well and hopefully it'll still be there end of this pay period. And then I can either use it to treat myself or put towards debts, probably 50/50.
Was also very pleased with myself yesterday as managed my first NSD in ages. And first day I didn't buy chocolate! Will try to be much better with my food this month.
Hope all are well.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -

Hi starnac. It will indeed pay my o/d which is fab! Otherwise would've had to tighten my belt for next month (and that never works
