Hey CMD, you aren't doing too bad yourself with how much you have paid off since August!!!
Managed to get through to A&L this morning and they have told me the £13 will be back in my account within 3-5 days, so I'm a happy bunny now!!!Aug GC £63.23/£200, Total Savings £00 -
Well, I'm not sure what I expected, small savings are never going to make much money. Was planning to put around £85 to a savings account monthly and only pay the minimum on my 0% (till September'09) Virgin credit card. Just checked the site and the 'regular savings calculator' told me I'd only make £15.56 interest in 8months, so not going to be that much of help. But I guess it's better than nothing eh?DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0

Thanks Millie Monster,
I won't be getting rid of as much as that as OH is back at uni but it is a good start!

Thanks CAFCGirl for thinking of me. Am not doing too good today have a constant heavy feeling in my chest (due to inflamed gall bladder) and the only cancellation they have for an op this side of Xmas is Xmas Eve!!!! They might have one on 5th December, if not and no other cancellations come up it will be January before I get anything done. The lady at the hospital who looked when the next date was said the Consultant has been doing operations on Saturday's so hopefully will get something sooner rather than later. I should hopefully hear tomorrow or Thursday.
Kids are back tomorrow and haven't done half as much sorting out/tidying up as I'd wanted to.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160 -

Just checked my accounts and 1 of DH loans has cleared so thats another £136.56 added to the siggy WOOWOO....
Just want other things to start clearing now.
Have to make one payment to one credit card in the bank tomorrow as the stupid standing order i set up to it doesnt clear in time on the account so I was late last month, even tho the SO went out 5 working days before the due date, but cleared on the CC the day after it was due.... such a pain.Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
Everyone is doing so well. I'm still only at £60 paid off, waiting for my Paypal money to go in so I can pay my Barclaycard bill. Waiting for one or two Postal Orders too, our postwoman doesn't come until about 2pm which is annoying.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160

Hi TooMuch,
I think everyone is able to be varying levels of debt but as long as we are all decreasing our amount then that is the main thing!
I have a bit of a dilemma. I got paid £75 more (got my payslip but not paid til tomorrow) due to an increase. Part of me wants to put it off a credit card but I have a big overdraft (which isn't included in my debts, but have savings that need to be in a joint account so they could pay it off) so not sure whether to keep it in my bank account. Trouble is, if it is kept in my bank account I know it will be swallowed up during the month of November and I will have nothing to show for it. Oh what to do!
I am thinking of giving up alcohol for November. I would like to lose a stone before Xmas and also not feel so run down in December as I usually do. Have never given up alcohol for a month before. I do love a glass of wine on a Friday, Saturday or any night really!!!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947
