  • I think I'm going to be overdrawn this month (although hopefully not if my Paypal money goes in tomorrow) I have £9.17 in my account and a £167 credit card bill to pay - oops!!

The kids are back now, my parents are off to visit my Nan on Friday for the weekend, she is 93 on Halloween and my dad just rang up and my Uncle's partner said she fell over this morning and knocked herself out so is in the hospital, so fingers crossed she is OK, my dad says that once old people have a fall they never seem to recover so might have to make a trip up to Shropshire sometime soon. I hope she will be OK, I'd feel so bad if she died before I could take the kids up to see her, she hasn't seen Alisha yet.

managed to make £3 on lightspeed tonight so when i get that thru with my other paypal money it will eventually go into my savings to pay mum and dad.

Got an email back from dooyoo about them cancelling my account, they gave me more details of why saying one of my reviews needs improved and that they give members a warning first. emailed them back saying i was happy to improve reviews and that no warning had been given!

That's worrying Lysasparkles about dooyoo. I acted on a couple of comments I received and added in more info on price, colour and functionality. Half of people have rated my reviews as useful or very useful, a very small minority as somewhat useful... Have only written 5 reviews so far, need to do some more...

I have been paid! However my earliest payments are set to go out around 1st of the month so can't update my sig until then...

ClearMy - I had this dilemma as well. I opted to pay it off my credit. As you said it will get swallowed up if its not used somewhere...Overdrafts are normally the lowest APR's for a lot of people, and I prefer now to see it come off a credit card , and see the numbers decreasing. But do whatever is going to help you the most, physically or emotionally.

TooMuch _ I hope GrandMa is ok....best wishes for her speedy recovery.

Well done Lysa, £3 is always nice. And well done for emailing dooyoo. Hope they put your account back for you and it all goes smoothly rom now on. Bit off for them not to have sent you a warning email. I mean they dont exactly give people much help with writing the reviews do they? So how are people supposed to learn.

Nothing much from me today, spent £5 at lunch and then spent £40 taking DH out for dinner as he had some bad news today and I wanted to take his mind off it. Bit more than I would have liked to have spent but he deserved it.
Two days off work for me now so Im going to hopefully bang out a few more reviews on dooyoo, need to tidy our flat for an inspection on Friday and I need to go into town to pay credit card (forgot my payment slip!)

  • Good evening everyone. Pay day tomorrow. Can't wait! The good news is that I have made enough money on AQA this month to pay off my RBS credit card (£296) so I am happy about that. Have been flat out at it all week though so I will take a break at the weekend!

  • Hi CAFCGirl,

We must have been posting at the same time! Yes, I think I will pay off some of my credit card as I would prefer to see that coming down then it disappearing into the wilderness in my bank account.

I think I might just make minimum payments on everything for Dec and Jan to allow myself a bit of breathing space over Xmas and the New Year. Have bought a lot of Xmas presents but have more to get!

    Sounds like a good plan.

We're still deciding if we will be buying any gifts this year... Our families wouldnt buy and never expect gifts but this would be the first year I wont have bought anyone a gift and I feel a bit bad for that.

DH payday tomorrow so that will be the £620 transferred over to our debt account to cover minimum payments and when all the minimums are paid, i will know how much I've got to make another overpayment. Woohoo
