Blimey it's all happened whilst I was away CAFC off on lovely trip PAID suggesting she takes some pics of naked Spianards whilst there which is typical! (If you see Rafa Nadal - get a snap for me :rotfl: )

Lots of snow here but I was cheesed off as its my half day so had planned on walk into town but couldn't face trudging thru sludge. So been tucked up with a mug of hot chocolate and good book :T

Just off to check my bank accounts as its time of the month to hopefully move some cash to savings. Decided to treat myself to a haircut and highlights at some point this month. Its usually expensive as I have a lot of hair have to be there for 3-4 hrs

I think we all need the odd treat otherwise it gets too much.

    Hi all!

Got my AQA wages this month and they were pitiful (£120) but have paid them into my Visa card so another £120 paid off. I just realised that I have paid off over 6k on my debts now so thrilled with that. Only another £18,416 to go. It seems so much.

What is everyone up to for the weekend? I am chilling out, haven't had a nice relaxed weekend for a long time so just want to chill out.

Oh well, the info about my student loan came today. I've not been able to pay even the interest so have updated sig and it's gone back up to over £13k. :( So disheartening. I owe almost £2k just in interest and before I clear that, I'm not paying anything off the original amount of £9,865.00. And pray tell me how I'm going to get my hands on £2k??? And every month there's gonna be another £77 off interest added.

Feels like a slap on the face, trying so hard to control my budget and spending whilst still having a life and then you find out that it hasn't taken you very far...Obviously further than if I didn't do budgeting etc..

    :(:(:(

Sorry to hear you are feeling down. It is very disheartening paying back loans. I have to pay about £90 interest on mine every month and I hate it. Have you anything nice planned for the weekend to cheer you up?

Of course you will and that is the right positive attitude to have!!! The Brecon Becons sounds lovely. Have you much snow there? All our snow disappeared on Tuesday!

I had a lovely holiday in the Brecon Beacons once - hope you find snow and it blows some cobwebs away.

I used to hate feeling I was never doing anything about the debt amount but merely containing the interest. Getting really fed up of blooming banks - all the interest rate cuts are working in their favour leaving all debts rates high but slashing savings whilst paying themselves chunky bonuses

Ok rant over its Friday night and time for fun. Might even open a bottle of wine its been a long week.

Paycheck cleared today so I've moved achunk of money into my savings account. Going to have a fiddle with my siggy - plot my savings against potential dream home :T

    Hi everyone!
How are we all doing this weekend?

Im having a catch up on things and trying to get myself organised! Lots to do in the house for the week ahead, no payments cleared for me today, but off to check our debt account and see what I can pay off somewhere...
