  • Hi Snow White,

No the treadmill hasn't arrived yet. Am on company number 3 for it. Argos completely made a mess of the whole thing and then the next company were out of stock so I should have it by next Friday at the latest. It is like someone doesn't want me to lose weight!!!

We all need to motivate ourselves!!!

  • Well fingers crossed for Friday! I've been tramping round the snowy streets with my pedometer trying to get fitter. Seems to be working, but not as quick as I'd hoped. Much prefer the idea of a treadmill at home tho.
  • Lol!!! At least you are losing the weight. I am at a standstill at the moment. I hope I use the thing now after all the hassle to get it! Do you have much weight to lose? If I lose 1/2 stone I will fit a lot of my clothes and if I lose a stone I will be back to my pre-wedding weight which was the weight I was at for about 4 years (didn't lose it for the wedding lol & got married 2 1/2 years ago!!!). Maybe we can keep up to date with each others progress!

  • Hi all

I am on at a stupid time due to crazy jet lag (and my inability to keep myself awake when I got home at midday yesterday)

I thought I would pop on and see how everyone was doing but you have all been VERY quiet while I have been away, it looks like we have all got that mid month lull where we have made our start of the month payments and are waitign to plan our next payments.

Tirl - do whatever you need to hun, if your family are able to lend you enough to sort the interest and you can comfortably repay them then do it, less is more when it comes to interest.

SH - Good luck for the job interview

Doodledo - I have had phases where I look at the amount I was drinking and am shocked at the thought of it. I sort of find that now I am much better able to tell when I am overdoing it. Everything in moderation and all that (albeit that sometimes moderation is a bit of a stretchy concept in my mind) As you are MSE you could set yourself a booze 'budget' for the week and set yourself a limit of (eg) a botle of wine or two bottles of wine and then once you reach that amount not allow yourself any more. This is how I trained my spending  (I used to take my cash out on a Thursday and then not take any more out until the following Thursday so that would be the same concept)

Hi CMD, I don't have that much weight to lose - probably about the same amount as you do. I don't own any scales, but just go by how my jeans fit. I've got a few weddings etc. coming up this year and already have my outfits but they're too tight at the mo so just need to hang them up in the living room for inspiration!

Yes, let's stay updated on our progress. I'm going out for lunch today but am going to walk there and back :T

PAID - like the idea of a booze budget!

Dizziebee - good to see someone's been busy, well done!

  • doodledo!!!! Hi hun

I flew away from my OH on Friday 13th and landed in UK yesterday, oh the romance :rotfl:

Of the three VDs we have had (not vanerial diseases I hasten to add before someone says anything) two have involved flyingin opposite directions and one involved me going out on the lash with my friends and him with his. I think it is safe to say we don't do VD.

Other than being jet lagged I am good (I started reading work emails earlier and got angry so turned off the blackberry)

    How is your ebaying going???
