Agreed, need to get going!!! Seen your thing on FB about your alcohol consumption. Were your family giving you a hard time? When I broke up with an ex after 5 years my mother was convinced I was an alcoholic tart that was going to fail uni. I wouldn't mind I wasn't even up to anything!!! I think parents worry all the time!

Nothing has been said officially all a little jokingly but I don't like it as I think they think I am not coping with the break which I am lol. I am having a whale of a time lol.

Anyway I had started to drink a bit too regular really in all honesty and obviously thats not good for me or my bank balance.

To be honest it annoyed me a bit as I know if I wasn't single no comment would have been made. LIke its ok to enjoy a wine with someone else but not on your own lol

  • Yeah, I know what you mean. It's prefectly acceptable for a couple to have a bottle of wine every night with their dinner but if a single person is at it then everyone assumes it is OTT.

It is so easy to open a bottle of wine every night too isn't it? Me and OH were at that about 6 months ago except it was prob 2 bottles of wine. I started to feel tired all the time so we have cut back to once during the week and once or twice over the weekends! Doesn't help that I love the taste of white wine though!!! It is better for the bank balance as well.

  • Hey doodledo and CMD!

Same here - I've been a bit to demotivated to come on here, not having any payments to make.

re. teh drinking - I gave up almost a year ago after overdoing it spectacularly. I even had a holiday where I didn't touch a drop. Now I'm letting myself have the odd glass now and again (hardcore as well, me!) - usually at the beginning of the night. When other people get drunk later on they don't even notice you're not drinking as they're too wrapped up in themselves.

CMD - has your treadmill arrived yet? ;)
