  • Hi. I've been AWOL as I've been ill, spent all day in bed yesterday until 10pm, had a headache since Saturday and was feeling really sick. Better today though but feel weak when I stand too long. Luckily the schools were closed yesterday and again today so I've been able to rest.

Missed a day of Ebaying yesterday so will try and get a few things ready to list tonight.

No payments made here, got my Nationwide CC statement but I paid that last week!!!!

    Bye for now

Yay, my savings have come through so I have been able to pay some of them off my credit card. I should be able to pay some more off during the week but want to make sure the dodgy tenants pay the rent first!!!

It feels great to be sub-20k. As most of you know, that has been my goal for a long time. I finally feel like I have turned a corner and I can see an end in sight. The first time in a long time.

  • Hi SW,

I will join you in the fitness challenge. My treadmill is due sometime this week and my challenge will be at least 30 mins on it 4 times a week. Is that enough to lose weight do you think?

Great!:D Sounds like a good challenge to me. I don't know whether that's enough or not - I'm not much of an expert - but I guess the important thing is to build up gradually and not do too much at once and risk injury. Wish I had a treadmill! Bet you can't wait till it arrives.

So far today I've walked the half hour home from work and then rushed around manically, trying to make the flat look less of a tip before my friend came round. Hope that counts as exercise!

Well done on the sub-20k as well

Toomuch - hope you're feeling better.
  • Hi all

I need to update my siggy but the total towards this challenge will drop for a wee bit as I have fannied around with my ISA and paid it off a credit card that had mine and a friend's holiday stuff on it with it (and had an accidental £320 spending spree) so I need to work out where I stand and then won't be messing around with saving and stuff but will just get on with throwing money at my Virgin card.

Other than that there isn't much going on with me (but I am jetting off to america (snow permitting) on Friday :T :T :T)
