Blimey snow galore
My car decided that all the money it cost last month for tyres was not enough. So its "general malfunction" light came on this morning and it wouldn't go above 30 MPH. A trip to garage via AA told me it was a software error & the on board computer needed an update. Big fat bill for nearly £100 :wall:
Otherwise my spending has been pretty good. Was pleased to hit Feb and allowed to do a proper supermarket shop. Waiting for pay to clear before knowing how much can go into savings this month.
Doodledo did you make your Wii target - I did if you can count watching the fab tennis final on Sunday. I did keep swing my arm to hit pretend balls and reach for my coffee :rotfl:Looking for the perfect home and saving to make becoming a MFW easier

11 days and I get my wages to make a bit of a dent to the debts, yay! DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -
Hiya Tirlittan,
Yeah, your right. It is getting a bit quiet on this thread. I'd say you are looking forward to pay day alright so you can make a nice dent. I still have my AQA wages to put in (which were very shabby this month) and also have some Quidco, some work expenses (not much) and also my savings that are currently being transferred over from another acccount. This should defo keep me going until pay day. No sign of any of them yet so I am getting slightly impatient.
SW - the meal sounds lovely. Glad you had a lovely time
Dizzybee - well done on passing the 1k barrier. It is a great feeling
SavingH - I am still crossing my fingers for you jobwise. Glad the haircut went well and hope the CD's have arrived!
Doodledoo - welcome back!!! It's brill to see you on this thread again
CAFC - the job sounds like it is going really well. Any word about whether you are on their pay system this month?
ShelleyC - sorry to hear about the car. It sounds like you have been sticking to budget this month which is positive though!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Yes, it's getting really quiet here. Is everyone playing out in the snow or summat?

I've not made any payments since the end of Jan, except to the sealed pot but I don't count that. My month of action will mainly consist of doing things instead of sitting in front of the computer and just thinking about doing them. I'm all talk, no action sometimes.
I also need to shift the pounds I've piled on this winter too. I was convinced I hadn't gone up a dress size then I burst out of a pair of trousers last night (that used to be too loose)
. So the plan for Feb is 300,000 steps with my pedometer, 4x aerobics DVD and 4 running sessions outside. Anyone fancy joining me? *waddles off to unearth exercse equipment from under bed* 0 -
