Morning everyone
sorry I have been awol lately but been a bit odd here as of late. I have been distracted by a man.............nothing serious yet so don't panic lol.
I tell you changing my profile pic and status to single on Facebook was a fab thing to do I have never had so much attention lol.
Anyway I need to get back on track as I fear I am slipping off my DFW trail which will not do.
CAFC - soooooooooooooo sorry I missed your move hun, I really hope everything went well and can't wait to chat with you soon. Loving the pic of Gordon, I have shown Rubes her virtual puppy boyfriend and she seemed to approve lolProud to be dealing with my debts - DFW No: 712

Morning all! And hope everyone had a lovely Christmas. Mine was lush and really relaxed. Have sent the money to Finland and today I should be able to pay some of student loan and rest of my family loan, but will update sig after I've done this. Paypal money is still on it's way to my account - how long does it take!! But couldn't resist paying off my Barclaycard today - so it's GONE!!!
Redid snowball calculator and with the upped contributions (from Jan onwards) I should be debt free May 2012. Only want to shave off 29 months off this...how,that remains to be seen. DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -

.
Doodledo - sounds like you've been having an interesting Chrsitmas! I'm sure the peeps here wont let you slip off the DFW trail,so don't worry;)
Toomuchdebt - hope the kids are on the mend and you can get some rest.
My Xmas was lovely - lots of friends and family around and no sales shoppping . I didn't have a no spender though as there was the small matter of the pub
It's funny how much more I appreciated small gifts as well now that I've cut down on buying so much stuff.
So, are we all ready for divine 2009?0 -
Ok, have paid my family loan off
and my student loan installment just now. Have updated paper hat challenge money, but will wait to update student loan figure when I know exactly how much it is (this might take for awhile). It's been a really good day for debt busting and I think I deserve to spend some time with my book now chilling out. No payments now till next year.
Definitely ready for devine 2009!!!DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -

Hi it is nice to see people coming back on here. We've been having extended family time on our new wii fit and guitar hero - great fun watching sister and her boyfriend walk the tightrope, hula hoop, snowboard etc. Not quite got on there yet but would probably have to fight for my turn anyway.
I've done my totals for end of year and am really chuffed at progress. Planning to post new year's eve/day tho as I gather someone normally starts a thread then....

Now I've been ill, had diarrhoea the other night quite bad, then 24 hours later (yesterday afternoon) about 4pm I felt really sick so went to lie down, about 5.30 I was sick 4 times, have been OK since then (fingers crossed, touch wood). Not sure what is going on, I hate being sick it is my worst fear in the whole world.
Have missed out on listing lots on Ebay yesterday so will try and catch up today, need to make lots of pennies to get debt busting.
Kids are still away so at least I haven't got to worry about them, Alisha still has a snotty nose and is ratty, sounds like we will all be well just in time for Stephanie to go back to school, so much for a resting holiday.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160 -
Oh, that not very nice TMD - hope you feeling better soon. There seems to be lot of sickness going around this Christmas. I'm lucky I've only caught a cold and it hasn't been too bad. Can't wait to try to add up how much I've paid this year towards my debts.Only really had my LBM during summer and before that was only paying minimum so it'll be hard work to find out how much I've paid.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0
