    Hi Mo4

Bet this is getting like a full time job for you!!!! :)

Out of interest how many times have you sent the plan out? Just think, the average person with a garden could easily save over £200 and with an allotment as well you could save so much more than that.

I only have hanging baskets and pots and I think I will probably save around £110 and that doesn't include the little fruit trees that I am going to buy to pot this year because I know they don't always fruit much in their first year. To be honest, I expect this figure to be much higher because I have underestimated how well my strawberry and blueberry plants will do, plus I am going to try some new things this year but I haven't included them either because I am not sure how well they could do.

I have applied for an allotment but I know the wait in this area is quite long.

To everyone with a little garden or lack of space, don't let that stop you! It's surprising when you think about where you can squeeze in another hanging basket or pot - even if your garden is north facing you could have a little cherry tree in a pot (T&M do one especially for pots!!!! Yaaaayy!!

    :)
  • Hi mumof4
I have pm'd you for a copy of your gardening plans too :j
I tried being organised myself but it'll take me until June to work out what I'm supposed to plant now *sighs*

I think we'll all have a whip-round and buy you a secretary to answer your PM's!

Thats great thanks. I personally would love chickens, but we dont have the space, and the neighbours dog would frighten them no end

Did you rehome your girls, I noticed you had a bit of interest on the omlet forum but not sure if it was of help.

After deciding what hens I was getting I'm off to Nibley farm either in the morning or next week as they have some of the breeds that I was looking for.
    Kind Regards

home fell through.... ds been v.upset about it all :( have been having huge discussions.... dh and I have decided to try and soundproof the house - we felt that if we could minimise absolutely any early morning noise then there could be no complaints... so fingers crossed :D
