Hi Dragon,
My Fibro has been SO BAD this last few days, I don't know if that's causing your pain. Fingers crossed we feel better soon, meanwhile a nice hot cup of choclate with cream on please.:santa2:

Hi everyone.:hello:
Well, did anyone miss me last week? I've just been catching up with the thread - ((((HUGS)))) to all who've been hurting/unwell, especially Sharon (I hope you got to a medical bod eventually??)
Ally, HUGE congratulations to you.:T
I'm glad nobody's moved my basket - I need to lie down in it for a good snooze, I'm that exhausted after last week. I'll just turf out the cats who have been keeping it warm for me, and get a nice big mug of coffee; perhaps that'll perk me up a bit..... *YAWN.......ZZZZZZZZ*If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

thanks for all your concerns-went to Dr this morning and came away with extra pain relief for back and had a good all over check. Then had to go pee for her to test-and seems have got another bladder infection-so got antibiotics as well. She also seems to think my cystitis and "MY FRIENDS" !!!! leaky bladder are caused by an irritible bladder probably part of my fibromyalgia so got tablets to stop bladder spasms as well now!!!!
so hopefully can get on top of pain from sciatica.

Am I glad to come in here today for a virtual rest and comfort!!! The last few days have been so manic that I've not had a chance to whistle before the next thing came along and my body is letting me know alllllll about it now, lol.
My new cages, stands and chinnie bits are due to arrive sometime today and I'm nowhere near ready so virtual world will be spent cleaning and re-arranging furniture to accomodate them - after setting them up that is! I'd leave it until tomorrow, but it is all coming on a pallet and would have to be left outside  .
I've had a tidy up, filled kettles, bird feeders and porridge is simmering nicely.
Sharon - Great news and must be such a relief.
Must go as DS urgently needs the pc ....... it's going to be one of those days - I can feel it in my bones,0 -
Morning everyone, hope you're all feeling chipper this morning! Bluedog, hope you feel better soon.
The garden is white with frost here again this morning but the sun's shining so that cheers me up. I have to go to the village shortly, just a quick trip for milk and hope that the christmas Radio times is at the newsagent for me.
I have freesat and this is my first christmas with more than the 5 basic channels although I do tend to stick to just a handful, but I have high hopes of a better choice this year. watch this space  I love ITV3 - Heartbeat, Morse, Poirot, Jeeves and Wooster!
Catch you later folks!
.... don't throw the string away. You always need string!

Just a quick Hello today, Mr LW is working from home, and due to finish in a few mins, then we have to nip out to deliver some magazines.
I'll just grab a coffee and a couple of biccies to keep me going. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Well I seem to have missed the "wheezies" and "sniffles" going round at the moment. More than likely they will turn up on Christmas Eve:rolleyes:.
BIL and OH are putting a new kitchen door on. They are making it open into the hall rather than into the kitchen to give more space in the kitchen and it is glazed so will let in light too.
I've hidden myself in the study pretending to do paperwork:o:o:o
I read the case about the lady with M.E. whose mother was detained after her death. Although I could always speak, though slurred, I was in bed for about 5 years and did contemplate suicide, I was too ill to do anything about it. Those thoughts still scare me at times, in that I had been prepared to let someone kill me but couldn't actually kill myself.
However on a much more positive note, I can now walk and talk and surf the net. Indeed I am so much better that I have begun to really enjoy myself.
Positive and happy is my natural state of mind so positive thoughts and happiness to everyone.
Chicken stock is ready to make a delicious chicken risotto. Come and join me in the cafe for lunch.
Handbell music in the background too.
What more could you want.

Hi ME - yes it was a scary and sad story. People just don't realise how serious ME is until they have come across someone they know who suffers from it. The strange thing is, there is a common misconception that PWME are somehow choosing the 'easy option' because they don't want to work, yet most of the PWME who I know were high flying professionals, who really loved their work and often the worst thing about the ME was that they had to give up their careers (I know this isn't the same for everyone, but it does seem to be a recurring pattern) Okay, rant over!
How is everyone today? I am on my 4th week of the flu-virus thingy. The chest infection at last seems to be clearing up, but it has really knocked me for six. Thank goodness I'd finished my christmas shopping before I got it - all I have to do is wrap the pressies and write my cards, so I'll just sit over here at the table with a coffee and get on with it....I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0 -
Urk need a seriously large and laced hor chocolate this morning! Still fighting will legal stuff but ankle is not as bad!
I've mixed up some pizza dough for the cafe this morning - bit of a change, I thought pizzas and pick your toppings (the virtual wood fired oven out the back is ready now!)Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup
