I love ironing....
Anything very strong for me please - i've just spent a frustrating 90 minutes filling in the on-line DLA application form, only for the thing to collapse on me when it asked to find my bank address. Can't go back from where I am. Help desk said log off and return to edit the form. But the form is there but full of error messages.

Hi Alto, you have my sympathy, I've never had much luck with the on-line form.
What I do is to put all the form headings into a word document, and then fill the form in there - I can cut and paste, and keep coming back to it as I feel up to it. Then I attached the completed for to the paper form, and just write 'see attached sheets' in the boxes. This has worked for me and for other people I have given this tip to.
Here Ally, have some parkin and a nice bailey's coffee.....
Enjoying the firework display?I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0 -

Good Morning all,
Not sure what day it is, that's nothing new, but I seem to have completely missed Wednesday. (I usually sleep for 30 hours plus without waking up and still feel completely shattered).
I will have a look on the virtual stove to see if there is any porridge. Yes, there is, so will have a nice bowl of that. Money on counter.
Its lovely and quiet in here, that's what I like, can't stand loud noise or bright light. I can see some shapes snoozing under the blankets, so I'll sip my tea quietly.
I have brought my virtual dog into the cafe for the first time, a nice golden labradour puppy, he is such a little love , sitting quietly on my lap.
Ah gosh I thinK I will just put my forehead on the table for a minute z z z z z:smileyheaMagenta0 -
By the way, I didn't know that there was an online option for the DLA form.:smileyheaMagenta0

Horace comes in...bringing a lovely bag of dog biscuits for the virtual dogs and some scratching posts for the various cats.
Just a slice of coffee and walnut cake for me please, I can't quite decide on what to have to drink - will it be a Bailey's Latte or Hot Choc with Marshmallow or a pot of English Breakfast Tea
I got up late again this morning as I switched the alarm off. I was just too warm and snug. Still I have managed to do a load of washing, checked my emails - received a mark for the assignment submitted, I wasn't overly happy with it and just wanted rid of the thing but am pleased I got a B:j Only 5 assignments left to do before I get my Diploma (woo hoo).
Hope you all enjoyed the fireworks last night - both real and virtual:D0 -
Hi all,
Well done Horace, must have missed it somewhere but what's your diploma in?
I was just thinking ( I know the strain will catch up with me soon) when I went to the outside loo (easier than going upstairs) of things we take for granted now, like an inside loo, to how things were when I was young.......... a loooooong time ago.
There was the loo, newspaper cut into squares to use in the loo, only ever had proper toilet paper on special occasions. A washing machine with mangle (watch those fingers) and a gas poker to light the coal fire. Black and white tv and a wireless the same size as a tv.
What do you all remember from your childhood?
Well I've waffled enough for a mo, grandson will be waking soon for his lunch. Enjoyed my coffee, was going to have a chocolate with Baileys but daisy has hidden it well.
Hope you all have a good day, try n catch up later.

Actually that's what I did - though part way through I started getting errors with the page not loading properly, but seemingly solved with 'back'. It didn't 'fall over' until I reached the find the bank - then there was no way forward nor back.
So I started another and save&exit half way through before evening meal. Coming back to it this morning, I can see the form through Adobe, but the 'program' won't allow me to edit.
Now waiting for an email from support as to whether they have been able to reset the form.
Definitely a black and black coffee with no milk please ..... :A0
