Afternoon everyone, sorry haven't been in today as I have been out and about doing some Christmas shopping and undertaking two mystery shops:j

I whiled away some time in TKMaxx and picked up a few nice things as pressies, the silly nincompoop on the till scanned one item in twice and the third item didnt scan at all so he basically undercharged me by £2 (I only noticed when I got home and put my shopping items into Consumer Pulse).

I also collected some freebies along the way - some moisturiser and lip gel from clinique and a sample of aftershave, two samples of Stella McCartney's perfume Stella and a gorgeous purple velvet pouch also Stella McCartney and just because I spend a load of money on some rather nice aftershave with matching showergel and stick deodorant (hoping that my chap will smell nice and will actually use the stuff instead of looking at it:rolleyes: ). I Likes freebies:D

One of mystery shops was in a restaurant - so I had some lunch with a side order of chips, a pot of tea and to finish some hot chocolate, I don't need to eat now for the rest of the day:D

I am rather tired, so think I will just sit by the fire and scratch the ears of my virtual dog:D

hi playmates, sorry not been around, had a filling today and feeling lousy (nothing compared to your experience allydowd!)

Welcome to the newcomers, always lovely to see new faces!

I'll just have a little hot chocolate laced with cream and baileys, and then I'll close up

    xx

Hi daisy, sorry to hear you're not feeling great, you sit down n relax with your chocolate, I'll tidy around although everyone has cleared away behind them. That new list of rules seems to be working, it must be the threat of fines that did it. Never mind we'll have to find a new way to fund The Annual Crock's Outing. Raffle ticket anyone?

Coo ta Karen, you are a little star!

When i was a child my dad used to contribute a few shillings from his wages each week, and once a year we all went to the seaside by bus. The kids got ten bob (50p!) to spend and the adults all got a newspaper to read on the way!

Here I'll start the ball rolling and donate a pair of hand knitted bunion warmers for a raffle prize :D

    Good morning everyone.
The cafe looks wonderful today. Clean tables and lovely hot coffee.
Wow, we do have a lot of folks who pop in and have a good time but don't order anything... just lurking.
Well it is wonderful to have their virtual company.
Not everyone wants to speak, silent warm feelings are just so valuable.
    Carry on lurking.

Morning everyone ,hope you're all as well as you can be today. Are we having virtual fireworks later? I've got the meat and potato pie and mushy peas on, does anyone have any mint for the sauce? Decaf coffee for me please.
