LW I was thining of you the other day. I went up to stay with S/E for a few days and we tried out a couple of new recipies for bread in the breadmaker.
I'm still struggling a little with the Glandular Fever, but gradually improving. I may not post much, but I am still reading along.

ooh I had that when I was younger, I do feel for you. You just feel crap all the time. Hope you feel a lot better soon. :)

How lovely! What's his name, and what colour is he?:o

I've named him Sherlock, and he's white-and-tabby with blue eyes. He's very cute, and he fits his name ever so well - he's inquisitive, persistent, subby, and he's been kicking my crime fiction DVDs off the shelf (shades of Holmes' attitude to Lestrade there, I reckon)... and not only that, he tried to steal my blister pack of codeine last night!

He sounds lovely! How old is he, do you know?
Youngest kitten I ever had was 6 months old, so I've always missed kittenhood in cats I've had.
I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to break :D

I didn't say? Seven and a half weeks as of today, so he really is a tiny.

  • Oh bless him! What a little snuggle-bunny!
I can see the tell tale claw/teeth marks on your hand that mark a kitten owner *g*

He totally is! And yep. Do you see the scar on the back of my other hand from my other cat? *g* That was accidental. She doesn't scratch much, and never bites. But little one... ooooh, boy. I'm trying to teach him not to.

  • They normally stop doing it around the 14 - 16 week mark.

    Lovely little boy, though!

Thanks. :D And I'm glad - I don't remember what my other family cats were like when they were that little, it's so long ago. My eldest is 17 now (he and two of the others live with my dad; I just have Sherlock and Gemma).

It's funny, my neighbour's friend just came and knocked on my door and asked if I wanted a kitten... and I pretty much had one! I know my mistake was in saying yes to "do you want to see him?" :D

Absolute spitting image of my elder cat...so close in likeness it is spooky!

Although my cat has one blue eye and one normal coloured cat eye.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.
