*sighs* After months of no neck pain, it's now started again. Back to the GP I go. :(

Sorry to hear about your neck pain. Hope the GP can help you.

Unfortunately, the level of literacy on there does my head in :P

I'll watch out for that :)

My usual way of dealing with it is to make a post, get it out of my system but then not actually post it up.....seems to work for me!

That did make me laugh. I did that a few times the other day on the Blue badge thread! :)

    Thanks for the advice.

Popped in to say 'Hi' to everyone!
Good news - I got my mortgage offer so it looks like we can exchange and complete in the next few weeks.
So relieved at the thought of not having to spend another winter here.
Just got to get my head round the thought of packing!
    Dream house here I come!
    One life.

My there are some confrontational people on this Forum. How does anyone survive it? I had to leave the thread on Blue Badges and having skimmed a few other threads I am amazed at some of the unhelpful antagonstic and downright rude posts people have made.

How do you guys cope? Do you just ignore the obvious barbs and nasty comments and keep talking about the point of the thread? Some of the things have read have made me feel angry but I can tell from the way the post has been made that the person wants a fight not a discussion or an exchange of views.

Does anyone know of a nice supportive disabled Forum? I am sure there must be one around somewhere as the nice people on this thread demonstrate.

So true. I said something along those lines in another post. I refer to them as the smuglies; in my head they're just around to try and force people into arguments with their self-righteous bleatings. Nine times out of ten they have no idea what they're talking about and just want to argue. It's very sad as it never used to be like that on here. Whilst I haven't always been much of a poster, I've read the forums for ages and used to find everyone on here so kind, caring and considerate. Now it's a far more accurate representation of reality :(

Anyway.....I've never posted in this thread before so hello everyone!

I love BBC Ouch; they used one of my songs on a podcast recently so they'll be forever in my good books :D
Never argue with an idiot; they'll bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience.
