My internet is not working *cries* for those of you who know how much time I spend online this is BAD!!! *sniff*

Virgin say to try another landline in the socket to make sure it is not the phone and call them to raise a fault otherwise. Fortunately I've found in the past that they are quite good at dealing with faults quickly - I have been without internet at home for 2 and a half days now and it feels so wrong :P

    Hi to the newcomers.....

Ooohh and I love the boil her head comment, how many times me and my boys wishes she would!
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

    Hi Sox!

I always have a little panic when we're not on the first page so here's a weekend bump!

Hi to everyone! The usual goodwishes to all and a reminder to count your blessings. If you have a partner or children or other family who are supporting you - give them a hug and let them know how much you appreciate them.
My lovely (bossy!) sister is coming down next week to help me with the move. Bless her - she has health issues of own . . .

Apologies now if my posts aren't making sense - I've noticed lately I think one word, and type another that rhymes with it (weird or what??) I do try and read my posts through a couple of times before hitting Send, but errors may still get through.:(
I do the same thing. Or type words that start the same. Also if the word I'm starting starts with the same letter as the last of the word before then I tend to miss it out completely. Gets really frustrating doesn't it. I swear I have some kind of fibro-induced-dyslexia!
Would it be ok for me to join in. My life is a total mess my finances, my health and my house is a tip.

Up until 6 months ago I was fit, healthy, active, outgoing and independant. One night I went to bed and woke up 3 days later disabled and now I have severe depression and barely leave the house.
My kids and support from my wonderful dh and GP keep me going but some days I just want to hide in a cave. I am in constant pain and am not sure where to turn. :(
    But of course! Welcome :D
What kind of disablement are you suffering from NH? I know that feeling of wanting to hide in a cave...altho it would have to be warm (but not too warm ;)) and comfy and dry...with internet access too :p

Come one come all, the more the merrier! :D Fancy and introduction to the life of sox?

I'm trying to fight my way back up to floating on a lilo going nowhere fast, instead of feeling exhausted from "treading water" or, worse, feelinging like I'm sinking. My mood and feeling that "this too shall pass" had faded lately and I've been struggling, but I'm looking forward to the day I'm in a rowing boat with someone else rowing for a while, "messing about on the river" :D
