Disgusting little ****. Had similar type yesterday using a live toad as a missile in a fishing catapult. Tried to get the poor thing off them, but they fired it at a passing car. Just as well it was the local plod in the car. They stopped and got out, boys ran off, and one called after them 'Don't bother, I know where your Dad lives'.
Perhaps a call to the Housing Association for a proper fence on the grounds of disabled abuse is in order?I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
oh no trialia thats horrible
*hugs*
i cant hang my washing out when the weather is good as i have a dog that thinks its a game to try pull it back off the line, was worse when i had a whirly line grrrr, now i stick to the tumble drier even in good weather0 -
Trialia, I think you need one of these:
Wireless Webcam
That way you can put out your washing and set the camera up rather than having to sit out there yourself. Set your computer up to record the footage and pass anything untoward to the police.
OK - I know that you shouldn't have to spend £15 just to secure your washing, but needs must.....
Errr... One other thing: I've not actually tried one of these, so I'm not saying anything about the quality of the pictures or build quality. The Gadget Show recommended the Linksys Wireless G Webcam about 6 months ago. Their home security article can be seen here.In the beginning, the universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and was widely regarded as a bad move. The late, great, Douglas Adams.0 -
Tralia That is disgusting, and so pointless, I hope they dont come back.
LW Im glad the ladies have settled in well and thanks for the pm.
Singlesue Im glad your sons better now.
Dh's in bed with man flu lol, why do they have to make so much fuss over a cold  and he's so bad tempered with it too, if I ws like that every time I felt grotty he would have divorced me years agoReal stupidity beats artificial intelligence every time.

Or not. Gods, I hate kids sometimes. Three boys aged between about ten and thirteen got up on the wall outside the wire fence and spat over it at said washing. I caught them quickly, but they still globbed phlegm on my big towel, which means I'm going to have to wash that all over again. And I won't be able to put any washing out without being in the garden to watch it, because I can't see the line from my window.
Given how much energy it took to do what has just been undone? I feel like I'm going to cry.
Dirty beggars! Why? I blame Jojo for jinxing you!!!One life.0 -

Tria, hope these people can learn to behave better to people's washing soon! The worst that happens to mine is bird poo as our washing line is under a big oak tree...
I walked 50 metres over the space of an hour on Tues, was a wonderful feeling and the furthest I've walked by far in a long while! Lay in the garden in a recliner for an hour while mum did some gardening, was really nice! Now I just need to decorate my left hand crutch as they're mismatched, one pretty and buttony, the other boring! I may go an do it out in the garden this afternoon as it's lovely weather!
Hope you've got nice weather where you all are today! x0 -
I've not had a good day...middle son has been very aggressive these last few days and it culminated in him throwing an easter egg box very hard at youngest this morning.....youngest now has a huge lump and a bruise under his eye.
I'm sure it's the hormones kicking in (he is 13 and going through puberty) and putting his aspergers out of kilter but all my old methods of dealing with it are not working and I certainly am not able to restrain him like I used to, he is far too big and strong for me now (the restraining when he was younger is what has beggered my right wrist up completely).
So not feeling too bright at the moment and very very stressed. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
Invasion Yay! Well done on a 50 metre trundle! I've been taking the doglets out for walk, but using the scooter. Interesting times when they both find a must-check-it-out sniff in different places!:rotfl: Mr LW comes along when he's around, and we take one dog each, but when he's working I have to manage them both. Lucky that they're both small!
Did you get your 2nd crutch decorated? You're very creative - I can manage a bit of cross stitch and paint pewter Dungeons & Dragons figures, but that's about it!
SingleSue Aww, (((GENTLE HUG))) sorry you're having such a time of it with DS2. Is the younger lad OK? I have a friend with an Aspergers son, but she only has the one, and he's (I think) about 19 now. Sending posi-vibes your way; don't know what else I can do.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
I just want to agree with LW really, well done Invasion it's lovely to be able to get outside a bit now the weathers improving isn't it.
Singlesue I think teenagers are difficult whether they have disabilities or not, I seriously dont know how I survived my kids teen years, but I muddled through somehow. All I can say to encourage you is it wont last and we are all here to support you when things get tough. I do believe that being a parent is the hardest job in the world, and we dont get any training for it. My youngest will be 20 next month, so she wont have the excuse of ' it's her age' anymoreReal stupidity beats artificial intelligence every time.
