Ramble all you want, Tobruk; we don't mind.
Was going to have a major vent, but alarm has just gone to tell me to get off my bum and go do some errands, as Mr LW is on early shift today.
Suffice it to say that I may well be committing murder very shortly.:mad::mad:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Tobruk, it's been two weeks since I could last wash my hair. I feel icky. But at good times I can only manage twice a week.Homosexual, Unitarian, young, British, female, disabled. Do you need more?0

Hair washing!! There's a fun one!! I have trouble raising my arms up high enough so Mrs Grouch washes my hair for me. Perhaps I should see if I can invent a decent hair washing machine. I could present it to Theo Whatshisname.

I've got the marketing plan all worked out; now all I need is the device!!!
Fell over today - Mrs Grouch and I went out for a walk (well, she walked - I got pushed). Came back and was getting changed when my legs decided it would be the ideal time to give way and I did the real "comedy fall" sideways on to the bed. I looked a complete wally! Never mind.....In the beginning, the universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and was widely regarded as a bad move. The late, great, Douglas Adams.0 -
If only, Oscar! My hair is nearly to my waist now, so it's a bit cumbersome to wash, but it needs it. It grows very quickly - I get it cut to my chin about every 18 months or so, and it grows to my waist, and I get it cut back again. Kind of like pruning a hedge, except I don't do it as often.Homosexual, Unitarian, young, British, female, disabled. Do you need more?0

:rotfl:At least it wasn't concrete steps. I fell up some concrete steps at the weekend and my knee is still sore and bruised. I either look like I've been in a fight or that I'm some very clumsy sod.

Had all my hair cut off last week cos I couldn't even comb it - stupid arms!! DD1 blowed dried it for me last night as DS had a gig. DD1 did tell me that my face looks fat but the right blusher should sort it out!! Kids - don't you just love them!!!
Can't believe I've got through this week - been so busy with work. Hoping for a quiet weekend just to get my bearings back and look for those lost 'marbles'!! I know I put them somewhere . . .
Take care everyone

Hi Black paw!! Hi everyone else.
Was up at stupid o'clock again this morning - muscles started cramping in my back, so had to totter round for a bit. After that, I had the issue where you start to drift off and suddenly are in the middle of your MRI scan (mobile tube type scanner with the closed end) and they can't get you out of it - not nice when you are claustrophobic so woke myself up again.
Decided it would be easier to get up than try to sleep again, so had my breakfast (7 assorted tablets and a glass of water) and been looking round the net for a while before coming in for a coffee.
On the "hair" issue, Mrs Grouch attacks me with the clippers every so often to keep my hair short. I also have a beard trimmer, as it's difficult to shave so Mrs Grouch tends to do a "whole head treatment". The beard was awful for the first month, but I don't notice it now....In the beginning, the universe was created. Got him to cut a few inches off it the other day, cos I was fed up with turning over in bed and being brought rudely to full conciousness by a tug on my hair because he's lying on it!
Re the fall - better a right wally that a broken arm. I do sympathise though - last fall I had, Molly Dog was here; I'd just brought her back from her walk, and got off my scooter and went A over T over the front doorstep. Molly just stood there looking at me as if I'd gone daft!:DIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0
