    Hello...I've just found this place!

    I'm Jenny, I live in South East Wales. 3 children....2 grown up and a small noisy child who's 6.....and a grand daughter who's 4.

I've just applied for DLA....fingers crossed. Its taken a while for my doctor to believe there is anything wrong with me. I had a sort of stroke 2 years ago and I was paralysed down one side. Some movement has come back but not all. I have a lot of joint pain and stiffness. I've had an MRI and that didn't show anything so my neurologist is a bit baffled. Physio and hydro have helped a bit but not much.

My husband walked out on me a year after this happened....he didn't believe me either. He called me a lazy fat cow...so does his (married) girlfriend.

I have a boyfriend in Manchester (173 miles away) who is great, very understanding....but a long way away.

I have a huge lack of self confidence, I've been battling with depression and I find it very difficult to leave the safety of the house. I fell over a year ago and broke my arm in 2 places.

Daisy please add me to your list.

Had the stitches out of my hands yesterday - ow! they were a bit bedded in.
Soooooooo good to be able to shower, wash etc without gloves on! :rotfl:

Hope everyone is feeling good today.

It's cold here today, but it's dry at least.

I'm debating whether to go out today - haven't been out and about for 18 days now    . It would do me good but worried I'm not going to be up to it.

DDs want to get their halloween stuff so it would just be a trip to woolworths and back.

ME what a lovely sentiment you posted yesterday :T

I haven't ventured out this morning and don't think I will, although the sun is shining now and it looks a beautiful autumn day out there.

Oooooo! How did you know? Yes I've been lurking since day one so I'm popping in to say hello :hello: . I've brought some scones and a pot of jam - well I did polish of altocumulus's 'Death by Chocolate' - and delicious it was too.

I hope today's a good day for you all.

    Hi everyone.

    Happy anniversary Lucy
    :hello: Kaat_Lady

    Welcome PinkJenn

There's freshly made soya Shepherd Spy and an apple and cinnamon pie today; I thought something hot around lunchtime would be a good idea.:o

I knew there was a frost this morning before I even got out of bed - cos I couldn't move! All my joints were seized up. Not to worry - a dose of Oramorph and a bit of massaging by Mr LW got me moving, albeit I'm walking like a knock-kneed duck in a full nappy!:D

Later, people, - I'm just going to pop some bread rolls in the oven.

Hello everyone and thanks for the warm welcome....I forgot to add that I'm also allergic to dairy...but sometimes I don't read the labels on purpose ;)

 to Rosieben.....I wonder how far away we are...I'm in Cwmbran

I like this virtual cafe....no aches and pains just smiles.....I could feel the love wafting around as soon as I opened the door.
