Hello everyone, good to see some new faces here :hello:

just a cup of tea for me please, although maybe I could manage a choc muffin too ....... or maybe even a double choc muffin

I'm over the worst of my head cold, still got a bit of ringing in my ears though, so even more deaf than usual. Its been a sunny but cold day here in the south west. not sure if the threatened snow is likely to reach us this week, think we might escape the worst of it.

    keep safe everyone
... don't throw the string away. You always need string! :D

  • Hi Rosieben,

True about the cold, bloomin hail stones in Gloucester this aftenoon. Just what me mankey lungs and knees needed, tucks the woolie blanket round her knees and sips a hot chocolate ( feel a bit more human now ---)

All teas, coffee, chocolate and brandy served...
Other orders dispatched as they come in.
Mind you drink in all the friendliness offered, there is nothing like slurping the dregs of human kindness when you are feeling down.

That is oh so true and such a lovely thing to say M.E. and from the opening of this cafe, it's clear to see there is plenty going around to share for all here. Both visitors and lurkers must surely see and feel this and speaking for myself, it is why I decided to open the door.

(I've got my "meds-head" on, so hope this makes sense!!!)
  • Right, I've got the menu up for this evening's comfort food.....and I'm just ready to take orders ....

Scotch pancakes with sultanas & raisins mixed in as I cook
    Scotch pancakes and maple syrup

Scones, lovely and fluffy with bags of fruit

Chocolate eclairs, fresh soya cream and dark organic chocolate

Death by Chocolate, with extra chocolate; and lashings of chocolate liquor for the hardy ones

Saffron cakes ( i know it isn't easter - but they are nearly ready now )

( All home made and freshly cooked here in the cafe )
