Okay today I am going to be needing regular infusions of tea please! Last weeks fun stitch is moving over to the one I call the "Ruddy Cat Ornaments" - I have to finish stitching these and get them in the mail to reach the Antipodes by Christmas 2005

Can you see that I don't get on with them very well :rotfl:

Just popping in for a hot chocolate please. Had a few not so good days and desperately need to tidy up here....... never ceases to amaze me how much clutter (....and dust) appears when you can't do much!!

"Anyway, today I'm trying to chase up the adaptions I need in the kitchen - new units ect. OT say council, council say OT so hoping to sort it out."

Good luck with this as I'm waiting on this too. I've been trying to get an OT to re-assess my kitchen for nearly a year now. Only recently did I find out I could have referred myself to the OT department, but instead, have gone through my gp. Cutting a saga short, the OT finally got in touch recently and said she will come to do it when she's got more to see in this end of her area.

It's a nightmare as my taps are so stiff (the starting point of what I need doing!) that they hurt my hands to turn on. (Because of their design, none of the adapter things you can buy will fit them  .) The housing association won't do it unless an OT requests it because they can then claim the works off government grants/budgets as far as I can work out.
  • :hello:, mind if I join you?

Mines a hot chocolate please, and if pos a couple of the crumpetts that are just out of the toaster.

My probs are chronic asthma, COPD, sleep apnia, and steroid induced diabetise, lungs are realy grotty at the moment, heaven help me at out patients tommorrow!

    Hi there,

I have come to join you. It's not often I get to see the daylight.

My Fibro is so painfull at the moment and has been for the last week. Isn't it nice in here, I think I'll have a cup of tea and a slice of that blacurrant cheesecake over there. I'll just leave the money on the counter.

    Really lovely cheesecake.
I'll have a couple of painkillers with my tea and then if nobody minds I will just rest my head on the table........zzzzzzz

    Hello there folks.

I'm back after being AWOL all weekend. Ooh, looks like the dishwasher needs emptying - I'll just see to that shall I? Then I'll have coffee and a slice of carrot cake, I think.

We went to the theatre Saturday night, so I was absolutely totally out of it yesterday, despite multiple cups of black coffee. It was worth it, though. And we've got tickets for "The Magic Flute" on 21st November.:j :j :j

Dragon, how's the jolly old ankle today?

Brrrr its cold...we have just had a hail storm and the sun is now out but I have already ventured out once today and don't feel like going out again so I shall have to do without real milk and plump for my emergency longlife stuff that lives in the pantry:rolleyes:

Had coffee for breakfast and the milk was fine, had one at lunchtime and it had turned:mad: There's nothing worse than lumpy milk.

I just need a mug of hot chocolate with some marshmallows floating on the top and maybe a flake to stir it with (a slug of schnapps won't go amiss either).:D

I am supposed to working on my assignment and writing up some bumpf to go onto a facebook page that I am setting up (anything to self promote my new business - or rather anything that I can get for free).:D Don't mind me, I shall sit here with my label maker and make some labels for my files.
