I heard about the snow forecast for next week. I'm hoping it doesn't arrive though, as I tend to stay indoors to avoid any chance of slipping and increasing the damage to my spine. I've been cooped up for a while now and the prospect of more days stuck in the house is a depressing one :o

Thouht i'd just pop in for another hot chocholate the one yesterday was the best I've had for ages :cheesy:

Can't believe your all talking about snow next week, I know my medication can make me abit out of it but I've not heard anything about the snow

Just my luck I am going to wolverhamotin for the weekend on Friday with my sister and have had it arranged for ages hope it misses there or I won't be going far from the hotel. Find it difficult to walk when the ground is slippy and the cold and damp causes more aches and pains than normal icon9.gif

Hope your starting to feel better now The Dragon

Not a problem Meemee! Chocolate flake, whipped cream and marshmallows as well?

The second lot of medication should do the trick (I hope!), I just can't believe they painted the disabled bay with the equivalent of gloss paint!:eek::eek:

As you can see from my avatar and interests I ring handbells.
I would like to invite everyone to a free concert on Saturday 1st November at 4.00pm - Holiday Inn, Sutton, Surrey SM1 2RF.
Don't worry if you can't make it, I'll make a virtual link to all in the Old Crocks Cafe so you are all entertained by the sonorous sound of the bells.
I'm really an imposter in such a grand line up of talent. About 30 very talented people from all over the UK and USA will be ringing. I think I'm there to make up numbers.:rotfl:
I can't read music that well, I can't count and I have to keep sitting down, but hey I do enjoy it.
    You are all welcome.
A taster of the calibre of music is here

Oh Dragon - hope the painkillers have kicked in and then some. I think you need to see a no win no fee lawyer and sue Morrisons for aggravating your ankle.

I think my chap is just exceptional - he is such a child at times - maybe it comes from him being the baby in his family:confused: Still, I have spoken to him on the phone tonight and he seems to be ok and he said that he will call me tomorrow night (well, he needs to play with his new phone that he is having delivered tomorrow).

I think I might go to bed and curl up and read my book - the bed should be nicely warmed up by now as the leccy blanket has been on.

For the person who asked about the snow - it was in the Daily Express on Saturday and I have seen it on long range forecasts:eek:
  • Opens door, puts kettle on - and waits to see who turns up......

Not yet snowing, but by 'eck it's cooolllldddddd......

I've been having a few days of negativity recently, so I'm trying to focus positively. It's very frustrating being stuck indoors though.

Anyway, today I'm trying to chase up the adaptions I need in the kitchen - new units ect. OT say council, council say OT so hoping to sort it out.

I'm also wondering whether the council would go for an extension rather than move us - not sure the grant for such would cover council property, so I need to do a bit of research this afternoon.
