The scones are lovely, as is the strawberry jam.
But now I have to go; Mr LW has just phoned to say he's on his way home from w*rk, so I need to go and start our dins.;)
I don't usually get online at all at weekends, as we spend the time doing the tasks I can't quite manage on my own, so I'll see you lovely folks on Monday.:hello:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Hello maties, any of those scones left? Strawberry jam and cream please (none of that soya stuff - the full fat extra thick double cream in the left hand side of the fridge door, please) - I need to build my strength up after physio - I am sure that man was a terrorist in a previous life
Hi Dragon, welcome .... good job you're around, I want to have a bbq tomorrow and I forgot the coals, but its okay now, you can just breathe fire on the food insteadI'm a retired employment solicitor. Hi all,
I've been peeking in the window over the last few days, but not had the energy to push the door open up to now, let alone find words to introduce myself too! It certainly looks nice and friendly here and with winter looming (merged too closely with the last one IMO... where was summer??!!), I will hopefully come here regularly for warmth, virtual goodies and friendship.
I'm another person with ME/CFS/Fibro. I juggle it with low back problems (following major surgery...) and general osteoarthritis and nicely top it all off with hearing impairment (congenital and both ears affected) ...... and investigations are currently under way for eye sight issues.
I'm cold today so can I have a large hot chocolate with a lashing of brandy please? It was so nice outside yesterday that I managed to pot up a few winter pots with cyclamens and violas so I should get some colour in the garden.
Hi there,Bluedog, welcome to the ME/CFS/FIBRO ++ and + group!! Before this cafe opened I had never met anyone else with these illnesses, it's sort of comforting to know that I am not alone. By the nature of the illness ME/CFS sure is a lonely life, sigh sigh...:smileyheaMagenta0 -
Okay a little late sticking my head around the door this morning (um afternoon!), Dr Dragon let me sleep in as he knows how badly I sleep generally (and he needs to help me downstairs so when he is not at work ......)
Right coffee is perking, tea bags, green tea etc are all laid out - the bar is clean, shiny and ready to go and ooooooh!!!!!!!! The cakes have just been delivered!Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup
