How infuriating! That's so annoying. :(

This doesn't help your situation at all, but if you really don't eat any of it, and can't return it to the shop - could you perhaps take it to a homeless shelter or women's refuge? And then send your sister the bill!

You absolute star. That is such a good idea! Thank you. Even though I volunteered a couple of Xmases ago at a homeless shelter and regularly take toiletries etc to them, it hadn't occured to me. Fabulous idea!
You have cheered me up immensly!

As for sending her the bill, she wouldn't do the proverbial on you if you were on fire without ensuring she would get it all back.
She really is a selfish cow and it's so alien to me as it's the opposite of my nature.

*hugs Jazabelle* Me, too. Cramping like hell and my friend refused to come round after all because he doesn't want to catch the flu from me.

I hope the rest of you are having a better time!

CwtA I refuse point blank to get in anything that neither of us will eat/drink. That was a good idea of Jaz's re the homeless shelter.

Tria hope your rotten flu is improved today.

Jaz have a better day today.

We had a quiet day, just the two of us, and I beat Mr LW at "Talisman" and "Odin's Ravens" (both board games) - I only collapsed with exhaustion twice, which is pretty good for me during a flare; and Mr LW was brilliant about doing stuff/making endless cups of tea (he's a tea-monster:D) and fetching my Oramorph when I needed it. :A

He's doing his early morning checks (for work) at the mo then we're going to nip out for a newspaper, as I have crossword withdrawal symptoms.:rotfl:

    Have a good day, everyone.

MERRY CHRISTMAS ONE AND ALL!! :D

Back from my parents now - we went to church with MIL for the Christmas service yesterday morning and then exchanged pressies with her (she loved the framed photo of us with her on our wedding day :D) and then went home and got the rest of the presents and our bags from our house and went down to ma&pa's - where sis, BIL, niece & nephew were [STRIKE]im[/STRIKE]patiently awaiting our arrival.....so we could all eat Christmas dinner! :p

We were originally gonna have MIL over here, but when she said she'd arranged to go to her friend's cos she wasn't sure she'd been invited(!) I jumped at the chance of not having to do any cooking!! ;) I'm not stuffed better than a Christmas turkey :p

Had a good couple of days, but feeling a littledown in patches...can't believe it's been 5 years since the tsunami (sis & partner were caught in it -he died along with her best friend - for those who don't know/remember) :o At least she's managed to piece her life back together and got married this year though :)
