It's that time of year, isn't it?.... I'm heading into a jolly old flare; can barely stay awake for more than a couple of hours at a time, and when I am awake, hands and legs hurt like bu88ery. Oh well, goes with the territory, I guess.
Tria and Poohbear I hope you're both recovered enough to enjoy the holiday weekend; and indeed, I hope everyone else has a good time, also.
Mr LW is on call all weekend, but if he does get called, he just has to set up his work laptop and log in from home, so it's OK. The only thing is I don't know if I'll get online (Mr LW is also working from home on Tuesday, as he's on early shift) so if I don't, please nobody worry about me.
Whatever you're doing, have a good time. Special hugs for Chloe, Furry Dragon, Lady Anne and all the other furries whose names currently escape me.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Yay, it's Christmas Eve! Did a mini-present run today, and returned a present at Matalan which wasn't quite what my mum wanted.
Also exchanged the Christman Eve hamper with my mum. I got some lovely PJs, a colouring book, and lots of other nice stuff! Spent hours colouring in my first page.

Awww lw sorry to hear about the flare. You rest yourself up and will keep everything crossed that it's a mild and short one.
I'm struggling a little - had bought the shops out in terms of food as Sister coming on Boxing Day loves Xmas and wanted the full works. She phoned this morning and cancelled. Am absolutely furious with her. She blamed the snow, but then forgot and later said in conversation that the roads are all clear 5 miles away from her. I stocked all her faves including mince pies, sausage rolls, Xmas cake etc - none of which I eat.

How infuriating! That's so annoying.
This doesn't help your situation at all, but if you really don't eat any of it, and can't return it to the shop - could you perhaps take it to a homeless shelter or women's refuge? And then send your sister the bill!"There is no medicine like hope, no incentive so great, and no tonic so powerful as expectation of something better tomorrow." - Orison Swett Marden0
