Sad news ..found my little hamster "Doey " dead this morning ( monday ) died in his sleep..was only running a round and having cuddles with me the night before .no sign of being unwell at all..he was getting old, two and a half...least went the right way with out pain..sniff sniff..just done hot chocolate for all ....xxthe truth is out there ... on these pages !!

Aw paw huge hugs, how sad for you. I'm so glad he had such a happy evening with you and a peacefull death without pain and suffering. I'm sure he will leave a huge hole in your heart and life but as with all alnimals - "no pain, no gain" xxxxMurphy was an optimist!!!0

Sorry to hear that black paw.
Because I didn't work on Friday, I swapped my day to today instead. It's bleeding freezing! It's meant to be -3C with a high of -2C - lovely! I've put a bit of sparkle on with my makeup to cheer myself up! Not looking forward to de-icing my car.

Sorry been in a bit of a pit and didn't want to drag anyone down!
We are not going away for Christmas now (were planning on going to my parents) so this afternoon Dr Dragon and I are fighting our way around Waitrose (oh joy, oh rapture, oh rapture, oh bliss! said in a rather sarky tone!)

Awww, bless - Furry Dragon sounds like he's enjoying the snowy weather, even if the rest of us could do without it. Penny-Dog used to trundle along with her nose down, then her little head would pop up with a pile of snow on the end of her nose.:D
I went out at 07:45 to replace the birds' "lollipop" with liquid water, and put some more food out for them, then promptly curled up on the sofa and slept for 2 and a half hours.:rolleyes:
