    It's so annoying, isn't it? :(

I have Borderline Personality, anxiety and suspected M.E/CFS (basically they acknowledge that I have all the symptoms of it and said that it's just a case of how far down the line to diagnose it but that it could be caused by my mental illness and exercise and Anti Ds will cure it all ).

    Very annoying!

Ah, many of us have ME and similar conditions are here.

According to the doctors, exercise cures everything! If you're doing it and it hasn't worked - you're just not doing enough.

My last consultant told me to exercise six times a day. He is no longer my consultant.

6 times a day! Yikkkkkkkes! I'm not surprised he's not your consultant anymore!

Any excessive physical activity leaves me drained. Just walking half a mile can leave me feeling wiped out. The consultants answer? Walk 1/4 mile.
Sometimes I'm too exhausted to even get out of bed. :(

The consultant said that he's going to write to my GP advising her to prescribe me some Anti D's, even though I told him that this goes against what the psychiatrist and my CPN have said. They refuse to prescribe me them because it's been proven that they don't work on me. If anything, I need mood stabilisers, which my CPN is going to ask the psych about.

I wish I had taken my OH into the appointment with me, to be honest, but I decided to try and be brave so that he'd be proud of me. Instead I felt put down and not listened to, whereas OH would have told them what's what when they started blaming my mental health for everything.

He was also a complete and utter a**hole, but there we go! I'm seeing someone else now. :)

Yeah, me too. These doctors don't get it though, do they? I'm too busy trying to do crazy things like get out of bed, shower and work - that practically kills me, so no, I don't have energy left over to exercise!

Aww, I hate it when they don't listen to you - or other people you see. They all think they are right. I hope your CPN can get through to him.

Yeah. They just think we're lazy. I find that that's what a lot of people who don't understand M.E/CFS think. They just think we're lazy but if they could spend a day in our shoes, they'd really see what it's like.

I'm lucky in that my CPN is really good. I've had my fair share of ones who have wanted to give up on me (something about BPD being untreatable, you see) but he's still here fighting in my corner. :)

LOL yes, I can't wait for the Solstice.;)

We had free beer yesterday (hence the post heading). Mr LW got an email asking if he'd like to do a sort of Mystery Customer thing on a nearby pub, so we went and had lunch there. It was fun, although I have to say I was utterly exhausted afterwards.

Busy doing the household accounts today, which is just as exhausting and nowhere near as much fun.

Right, back to the grindstone........ later, people.:o

bz snap  I have two houses to sell in the NY and am dreading it _pale_

I'm another one not posting much atm cos RL is a bit too real atm. Don't get me wrong, I'm ok - just feeling a bit grumpy and overwhelmed so keeping a low profile ;)

Lol Morag, I love that choc smiley.
Selling houses is NO fun. How come you got 2? Parents? And I know exactly what you mean about RL being too real! I'm using online games etc to do a lot of escapism atm. I could've thrown myself under a bus the other night when my laptop died completely out of the blue! Thankfully, 1 new adaptor later, it's working ok again....phewf!! :o

 I have ME/CFS, along with Fibro. Although my physio essentially told me the other week that if a consultant hasn't diagnosed it then it's not official. *sigh* I really don't think I cba going to see the consultant again just to jump through some more hoops to make it "official"...especially when the treatment isn't any different

It's a pain isn't it, LadyM, when you have any kind of history of mental health issues the docs (and dare I say it, family and friends) tend to peg everything on that. They think it's lack of motivation rather than energy etc. If only we could swop for a day... Best education ever, that, I think!

Paha! I had a feeling that'd lure you out Blackpaw! ;)

    Welcome Lady morticia,

I have ME too :) This may sound really silly, but would going on the anti-D's and showing them that they don't work help? It saves you one fight at least, and you need to save all the energy you can get. I was "lucky" in that my lovely paed. consultant picked up on my symptoms (which first presented as a constant headache) and diagnosed me with ME after 8 months, 3 different paediatricians and a visit to CAMHS. Lots of "it's stress, exercise more, you'll feel better in the summer holidays" I've been diagnosed for 2 years now, and ill for just coming up 3 in the new year. It's a tough one, but after lots of fighting against it I've accepted it for now, I'm not resigned to it, but I'm accepting that this is my current situation, and I'll do what I can to help myself :) good luck with everything, and welcome again!

Yup. Mum died in Sept (hence Lady Anne) and had a 1 bed bungalow. When she moved there, she couldn't sell her 2 bed terrace so she got a buy to let mortgage and rented it out. We intended to continue the rental but the tenant gave notice 2 weeks ago

My escapism is mainly sudoku, spider solitaire and lurking on MSE and I'd be lost without my lappy  I've done all my Christmas shopping on line this year:D
