    Hey everyone

I've spent most of today building my new PC :D I love it!!! It's soooo fast and such better graphics on games, and Windows 7 is ace!!!

I love them lil boots!! They're so cute! Prefer the blue ones

I loved your letter Jo, I just hope it makes a difference.

Good luck with BT PCL. Luckily I haven't had any problems with them, had a minor one when first signed up for phone and broadband, the phone line was fine but broadband went off a week after we got it, found out someone had linked accounts with someone else  also the muppets I spoke to about it gave me the details of the person's account it was linked to, name and address!!! But, now I have 2 home hubs, just in case the first breaks I have one here to replace it :)

I'm off to bed now, all the excitement of new PC has worn me out :)
    Night all xxx

If I were to get them off that ebay link it would be nearly £30... If I can get cheaper shipping directly through them even if it takes longer to arrive so they cost nearer £20, then I'm going for it, fed up of feeling so unstable! Would rather spend £20 odd pounds than damage my coxcyx (sp?!) falling over, or breaking something! The slabs outside get so slippy with the leaves, and even just the rain, when the green slime starts to get bad, dad jet sprays them for me :D

Oh, and BZ http://www.betterlifehealthcare.com/view_product.php?prodID=4717 these what you're looking for? Neoprene squidgy covers? I love that site, staff are uber helpful and I've just spied some orange crutches... :D but they're half cuff....

Hi all, Im layed up on the sofa as my back pains flared up again, it's sacroilliac joint pain and used to be just on the right side of my low back/buttock/hip/down leg into heel iykwim, but now it seems to have spread tot he left side too. I'm so gutted it's happened today as I was planning on going to a holistic fair with a friend and I feel like I've let her down. Does anyone else feel bad when they keep having to cancel things at the last minute ? Oh well at least I can spend the day watching the True Blood series that a friend recorded for me so I dont have to sit up late at night to watch it.
Hope everyones having a good day x

I've damaged my coccyx twice (not from crutches or falling over though, weirdly!) and it's NOT fun!!

They look good and similar to what I've designed in my head (!) but the zips put me off and they don't look very cushioned/squidgy? You ever used them?

Yep, certainly do. Especially don't like letting DH down...:o I think I've cancelled so many times on my socalled best friends that they don't bother asking me to go anywhere anymore... ah well. Got newer, better, friends now, who actually understand and believe that I'm ill... ;)

  • Hi everyone...
Having a dreadful day. Again. This last week has been a nightmare healthwise, and now mentally everything is going wrong.

    Hope everyone is okay...
I went to see my first football game yesterday. Birmingham vs Manchester City. No goals, but was still a good experience :)

  • suep Real friends do understand and will feel nad that you're in pain rather than getting antsy about it. Just rest up and I hope it clears soon. Does heat help?

saucy I'm sorry you're having such a hard time at the moment but pleased that you got out and enjoyed the footie.

It's turned reet cold here now and I'm just considering having a hot bath to warm up. Did Dad-sitting today while his wife went out and he seems quite a bit brighter today - ate his first meal in a week rather than just picking bites here and there. Wasn't half as pale either which is lovely to see.
Having Sis here tired me out but broke some downward spirals of thought which can become self-fulfilling if I'm not careful (with that axe *g*).

Have decided to cancel all but the most pressing medical things this week as I need some serious rest.

Hope the sun shines a little on all of you.
I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to break :D

Saucy, so sorry you're feeling so rubbish, hope things start to pick up for you soooon!

I had my first bath in 3 weeks today, was lovely, apart from I got horrible what I call ice cream headache in my legs- does anyone get that? ;) just as I was preparing to get out - lost flipping bath seat remote in amongst Lush Ma Bar bubbles :p which was annoying, I think it was due to washing my hair, something I've not done in months myself, but I couldn't face getting out the bath and having to lean over the shower which makes my legs want to die! Wonderful wonderful to be proper clean as opposed to wet wipe clean! :D

Oooh, also, got my IB backpayment today! And am going to local orthopaedic hosp. tomorrow with college on a "trip" as if I don't go there enough already ;) we're going for 2 hours in afternoon so will be knackered after, but no college till Friday then. They've not been able to arrange transport for me, something to do with insurance, my being disabled, and minibus and electric wheelchair not mixing...! So Dad's having to take me.

cwta usually it does, but yesterday I thought Id use my heated tens machine, when I took it off later in the evening my hand brushed against my back and I felt something funny, I got a small mirror to see what it was and I have big blisters where the tens pads were
I'm glad your Dads a bit brighter
