Hi sharon nice to see you. Hope the pain eases and you get some helpful answers on monday.

jaz sounds horrid. I hate those sort of office politics crap...it's the biggest thing that doesn't make me miss working...iyswim!

suep that sounds grim! Hope it heals up quicksticks - maybe aloe vera would work?

saucy hang in there! Remember - this too shall pass.:o

    paw that sounds scary!

    Can't remember anything else! Sorry.

I've finally got my official wedding photos - about 400 of them :D I'm waiting on the photos from my brother now and then I can get crackalackin on my photobook :) Other than that, my ankle's much the same...waiting on my physio appt on thurs at which point I think she's gonna have to do soft tissue massage to lengthen the scar tissue...eek!:o

    Hope everyone else is ok?

  • sharon Nice to see you, Hope you get some results quickly along with appropriate pain relief.

paw That must be a bit worrying for everyone. They are very hot on heart health so hopefully he'll get good attention and everyone's mind will be put at rest. Enjoy Bonfire night - it's wonderful sharing it with kids.

saucy How are you doing today?

Sue Aloe Vera is an excellent for burns (through gritted teeth *g*). When I had some laser treatment that burnt my skin,, the Consultant Dermatologist recommended it.

Tria Good to hear that the flare is finally fading. Try not to do too much so you can recover properly?

    *wave* to everyone else
Just off for my Physio in a minute - hope there may be some news of my MRI too.

  • Hey everyone :)
Boyfriend went home at 1pm, I cried my eyes out when I got back. Not very normal, but its been a terrible day. The uni are only offering £250 'emergency' loans at the moment, which won't touch the £1,400 due on 12th November, and student loans are still saying 12 weeks.
The Mind man told me to try talking to my GP again, despite me saying both that I am housebound and can't get to my GP, and that he doesn't notice.
Also got declined again for a wheelchair, my consultant wrote "You are only 19, hold it out. You don't want a life sentence yet."
No, I want a wheelchair, so I can try and get some independance. Grrr...

Off to the post office, got 11 strongly worded letters to send. In better news, my scrapbooking stuff was delivered today...they don't actually bring it, but will redeliver to the post office on Friday, so I can get it then and start next week. I'm going to make it about me and my boyfriend, and give it to him on his birthday/Christmas. He'll love it :)

Axe - Let me know how physio goes, I've never had it :s They sent me three times a week, but the therapist always refused to touch me.

Sue - How are your burns today?

BZ - Looked at your pictures on facebook, you look brilliant. Your wedding looks like it was an amazing day!

CWTA - thanks. Working on it. The plumber came round today and has told us that yes, we definitely have a major problem with damp in this house, and finally my landlady believes me. :P Except that replacing the damp course on the building would cost thousands, so she's not sure she can do it or even wants to do it. I'm still trying to find another place, and this may even help with that :P I'm certain the damp in my room is one of the reasons it's taken me so long to get rid of the latest flare - I keep having sneezing attacks.

Anyway, apart from that, I have a new friend... same age as me, she has all the same health problems I have, only ME rather than FM (not that different, though), and we have a lot in common aside from being ill, too, which is great. She's at uni - healthier than I am at present, fortunately for her :) And we both 'get' it. She was very sweet and came over to hang out with me yesterday, I started to get her into Sanctuary and she decided to cook dinner for me because she knew I hadn't had the energy to leave the house in days. ^__^

Saucy, Red cross will hire out wheelchairs for free (they do ask for small donation @ end of loan) also, shopmobility is normally free :) x
