jo jo :T :T :T Great letter. Please cc it to the Clerk to the Governor's (that way it must go on the agenda) Is it also worth asking why her letter was addressed to your daughter, Miss Tightfisted?

pcl thanks for your offer of fb friendship. Must get my rear in gear, I'd like that. Hope the enevitable emptyness is becoming gradually less intrusive icon9.gif

cwta hope your dad is feeling a lot brighter and you both enjoyed your sis's visit.

    lw have a nice weekwoohoo1.gif

bz glad the physio might be doing some good, 25 degrees is better than 5 ;)

JoJo that letter is IMMENSE! Love it!! :T Hubby was enamoured also! You had me weeing myself at certain points - I especially like the reference to her being off sick!:rotfl:

    This bit I LOVE:
Of course, sitting down quietly 78 seconds into the day is so much more disruptive than a ten minute round trip.

As the probability of a miracle cure is somewhat low in the foreseeable future, I therefore expect to hear from the Education Welfare Officer by the end of next week. I shall be delighted to hear her suggestions as to how I can reduce the obvious harm I am causing my daughter's education by her having 100% attendance for the last 5 years (her only time off since Nursery has been to attend Grandparents' funerals) and approximately 4 minutes of lateness during the period. I would have discussed this matter with you last week, but apparently you were off sick again.

I'll be VERY interested to hear what their response is...;)

someone has stolen my quiet timid chloe and replaced her with an affectionate confidant look alike. last night she went so far as to not only not let (presumably mr ginger tom as i never got a chance to see who/what it was) get in through the catflap, she went charging out after him and chased him away form the garden too. and she has stopped hiding upstairs the second anyone knocks on the door, staying put or on the bottom stair.

    hope everyone is ok

That letter is brilliant JoJo! I too love the part where she was off sick again. And the reasons you've been late is due to the access to the school, which does sound ridiculous - as well as the go to the office to sign in policy. It's one thing to do that if registration has closed, but 78 seconds it all kinds of ridiculous.

Please post whatever kind of response you get. I too would send it to as many people as you can.
