Oh bless you Saucy. Take a deep breath, get yourself together and ring Customers Services/Complaints at the Head Office stressing that you are disabled and housebound (over-egg it a lttle) and ask them to sort it out for you. Tel: 0845 7225533. You will feel a lot better getting it sorted out even if it takes that bit of energy now. Do this to make Auntie Axe happy? *g*
Thanks for the good wishes regarding Dad - he may perk up again and surprise us all, but it's not looking likely so am trying to spend as much time as poss with him without tiring him out.I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -
Actually Saucy, if you can't bear to do it, PM me the details of your order (Ref Number etc) and I'll phone them for you. I would relish having a fight with someone over the phone and I'm quite good at it
:D

Say Hi to S/E for me.Another Aymer?? There's more on here than I realised
Sorry to all those reeling from the shock though:o
There was more I was going to reply to, but I can't remember it all now!
I've just come back from my second physio appt and I've gone from having only 5 degrees (like degrees of a triangle etc) of movement in my ankle, to 25 degrees today!!:T I'm well impressed with my wee self!!
Next appt is next thurs now, with another exercise to add to the others and do at home in the meantime...
I've not got used to the weird ergonomic crutches yet, but because of the whole wet leaves outside and wanting to feel confident enough on my crutches while I'm alone/dealing with stairs/going through the hospital corridors I haven't actually given them much of a chance, truth be told.:o"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -

Good news about the ankle movement, but don't do the Wolf's trick and go at it like a bull at a gate, OK?If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

ooh BZ do be careful on wet ground, they do tend to be all slippy in bad weather it's horrible when you can't get outside without them, and don't feel safe with them! Well done on extra movement!0

...And has prompted hubby to think of weird things like when I should conceive (when the time comes) in order to not be heavily pregnant in winter/late autumn when the ground's slippy!:A:rotfl: I couldn't decide whether it was really sweet or really funny that he thought of it!I swear he'll wrap me up in cotton wool and bubble wrap when the time comes...

Sleep well Bevan!
I've given up on the crutches for the most part to be honest, have had to admit defeat and using wheelchair for just about anytime that I'm outside garden, which is frustrating, I loved how inconspicuous I was on my crutches, feels so free and dare I say... normal!
I do get the odd trip down an aisle or two of a small shop every now and then though, when it's been an unexpected trip... and crutches are fab for other people's houses (I know which things I can grab onto, and where they are in my own house) I'll get there though, just annoying, stupid rebellious legs!
