Mmmmm..... Good old fashioned Cornflakes for me please; I'm a tad hungry having taken Molly Dog for a good long trundle round the field. I'm getting even less than usual done, as she keeps wanting to play/have a fuss/stick her nose into whatever I'm doing.:D

1 bowl of cornflakes for LW and a bowl of crunchy nut cornflakes for BP with a nice warm mug of coffee :)

I bet Molly Dog loved her long walk though :)

  • Morning everyone :)
Slightly odd question, but has anyone here had surgery for cosmetic reasons?
I'm pondering something, but I don't want to go into too much detail yet...I will soon, though.

Feeling terrible again, but got my start date for Selfridge's. Have to dress in black, but I don't own anything smart and black! So I'll have to find some money to go shopping.

Boyfriend is staying here with me tonight :) We are going to watch Eastenders and Corrie, they should be good tonight. And go to Pizza hut this afternoon, so that I've actually left the studio this week!
    Signature down for maintenance :rotfl:

Hi Saucy No I've never had cosmetic surgery. I did toy with the idea a few years back, but it's really and truly too much of a risk with lupus, to have an op that isn't medically necessary.

Good news that you've got your start date.

Hope you have a lovely evening with your bf, and that it makes you feel heaps better.

    Hi guys

Saucy no I've never had surgery full stop. I can't bear the thought and really couldn't deal with elective surgery.

Didn't realise you had Molly dog back lw.

    You ok jaz?

Manage to catch up yet suep?

Cwta comes back today with her dad doesn't she?

Hope everyone I've not mentioned (including pcl) is ok?

I'm fuming. I woke up to a woman from the letting agency letting herself into my house!! She reckoned she was here for an inspection (which I'm supposed to have every 3 months but they never sort out in advance and then send a letter saying it's overdue, which I only got the beginning of this week, asking me to make an appt) that they'd "sent a letter" about- which I've never received- and that it says in the letter that if I'm not home they can let themselves in!! I was still in bed (on the living room floor due to ankle) and I honestly think that if I'd been sleeping upstairs I wouldn't've heard her til she was like IN my room! She then asked me if she could still do the inspection! And then tried rearranging the appointment with me, whilst she's still got one foot in my hall and I'm still in pjamas kneeling up on my bed in shock! I was like NO, GET OUT! Then she made some jibe about her hand delivering the next letter, then they know I've got it!! Sarcy cow!

And, Ugh, I hate feeling like someone could just come in whenever they like.:(

OMG!!!!!:eek::eek::eek::eek: That is absolutely terrible! I'd have thrown a total and utter screamimg fit if that had been me. Not to mention that I don't have a use for PJ's (though actually, that might scare intruders off.....LOL)

Yeah, perhaps she should deliver the next one in person - postal strike and all that. But there was no need to be sarky about it.

Whoa, that is SO out of order. I dunno what to say....... words like totally fail me!:confused::eek:

  • thats so not on bz, they must give 24hrs notice before coming at least, and i should think they should eb making a lot more effort to reach you before coming in.

the first year i had whitney over here the landlord sent a letter...to a student house....that they were doing an inspection on the 22nd december (xmas hols how many students are not home?). it came that morning and whitney would not cooperate and stay outside so had to go hide at the vets for the day as we didnt know what time the inspection was.
