I'm jealous. Of the cleaner, not the crappy response you're getting from folks who should know better (but usually don't cos they don't listen when you're telling them what's wrong with you...:rolleyes:)
It's not just you. Some people react with horror when I so much as mention using a wheelchair - even while I've got a knackered ankle! Others use it against you, in an "well you weren't well enough to do xyz so there was no point me mentioning going to abc with you..." sort of thing.:cool:
I used to get the "you're just lazy/faking/hamming it up" all the time for the not working thing....still do sometimes. I think sometimes we run out of words to try and explain/help them understand and have to just cut them off from bringing us down with the negative energy...?

jaz it sounds like you're having similar issues as hubby was having with his laptop, which was fixed (apart from needing a replacement battery) with the help of a replacement power pack cable.

BZ you are so right! I've made a promise to myself to stay away from people who drag me down and make me feel bad about myself. I hope your poor ankle is starting to improve - you must be near to climbing the walls by now.

now, now no carp days !
its pouring with rain ,managed to leg it to garden to pick tomatoes ! for the sandwiches ....any other fillings ??

feel like cold coming ..me breathing seems bad (asthma ) throat feels sore and small coughs.. heating working now !and even had some post ! just of to check me fishys on face book ..
