I think it was a cancellation, as they only phoned me on Friday to ask if I could come, but yeah still a strange time.

Ahh, thanks for the info. Guess I will manage that!

Well, that was a bit of a palaver! I got to work at 5. At 20 past the hospital phoned my mum to say my appointment was at 5:05, not 6:05. But if I got there really soon, they would still do my scan. So she phoned me and told me and I had to leave work, so I didn't so my fair share at work and I feel bad. I know they told me it was 6:05, because I thought what a strange time as she said it!

Anyway, rushed across town and made it in time. It wasn't too bad - really loud though. Didn't have earphones, but did have earplugs. Would have preferred the first though. Did manage to keep still and they said the results would be back in 2 weeks.

The next fight is going to be for seeing a new doctor for my results, as the last dr I saw was horrible. :(

Grr, so annoyed. I'm trying to apply for the London blue badge Congestion Charge discount. I phoned earlier and said that as the postal strike was delaying things, could I send the application by email and scan all the documents needed in. She said yes and gave me an email.
Is this for a visit you've already made?

jeepers careers advice for 7 year olds? theyre too young to be making up their mind what they want to do,,whatever happened to kids being kids in this world? their clothes have gone all "adult" themed, as have their toys and now school too?

    hope everyone is ok.

No, you have to apply up to 10 days before you go. I'm going on the 14th, so they will have 13 days to do it, but still worried about the postal strike.

You pay a £10 admin fee, but then it lasts as long as your blue badge does, and then when it expires if you renew it within 90 days you don't get charged again.

She told me to send it special delivery which is a £5. I should have asked if they would be extending me the same courtesy and sending my exemption back that way.

Did your birthday go well blackpaw?
