No, BZ I haven't seen them yet. Tbh I've heard so many horror stories about people who've had privacy/security probs with fb that I've played safe and stayed well away from it.
I'd love to see some, as and when you're well enough, but for now, please just concentrate on getting yourself right (or as right as you can be). *SIGH* I know, it's like getting blood out of a stone, trying to get the appropriate help when you need it. I wish there was something I could do to help.
I think I've given up on getting any help now. The emotional impact just isn't worth it, iyswim.:oHow do you overdo it with ME?! What a ridiculous question, when having a bath etc, is overdoing it it's pretty easySorry you're struggling, a nap may well make a difference if you're not in too much pain to sleep. Hope you're in a little less pain soon!
b) nice chair dude
c) you can imagine just how I impressed I was!!
I've got sis comin tomorrow to take me for the xray and bro&sil comin thur to look after me... now to try for fri...:cool:For those of you that remember I was offered a job, until I mentioned I have fatigue - I had my occupational therapy assessment for work today. The doctor cleared me for work, and he wrote the letter while I was there saying he saw no reason for me to do the job, that I would need a full work place assessment to make any needed adjustments and that I may need to be allowed time off to go to appointments. (I didn't ask for that or mention appointments, he just wrote it, which was nice of him.)"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -
P.s. I inadvertantly (and rather stupidly:rolleyes:) put my crutch on a mislaid jacket on the floor, meaning it slipped, meaning I automatically put my (bad) foot down to steady myself... leading to some pretty impressive PAIN
It's more of a steadily gathering increase of pain, rather than a sharp all at once attack...I'm not sure which is worse tbh

BZ many thanks - the pics are fantastic, and you've just cheered up a rather miserable Wolf.:o I hope your poor foot is starting to improve. I've done the put-the-stick-on-something-that'll-slip thing before, too. Embarrassing, or what??
Paw Dilly stayed for four days while her humans had a long weekend away, and she was a lovely house-guest. We even took her to the pub on the Sunday! I just hope I get another one soon (although my ol' mate Molly is coming to stay on Oct 21st for 11 days:j)

Sorry guys, having a bit of a bleurgh day today; brain not functioning too well, with the result that I'm not too good on the putting-the-words-together-and-making-sense. There was a whole load more I was going to say, which has now vacated my head.Luckily Mr LW has requested pasta & cheese sauce for dins, which I can make on automatic pilot.:D

sky are barstewarts about fixing their boxes, mine broke and becaus ei was not paying the insurance/warranty for it they refused to have anything to do with it without charging me call out fees and fees for fixing it. i told them to stufu and cancelled my channels and used that 30quid a month for gym mebership instead. and got round to cancelling tv liscence a year later...i dont miss it thanks to the internet, so tv only ever goes on now to watch a dvd or video.
jazz hope the letter helps and she stops being such an idiot over everything. good luck with first day on monday too (i wont be around sat/sun much if at all to wish you it then).
invasion its impossible to ramble too much for us lot, we may not remember what all we read (well i dont, ive just read all the last page and cant remember what i wanted to reply to already) but we do read and take interest and i sure miss everyone elses rambles.

I read in the paper yesterday that the lady who inspired the Beatles' "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" has died at the age of 46 (ie younger than I am) - of lupus. And I think it's made me feel a bit - well, vulnerable.
Also, I'm completely isolated when Mr LW is at work - I have no family, and no friends locally, so I rely on you guys more than perhaps you realise.:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Was it how you expected/imagined?
I've finally gotten round to uploading some of the honeymoon photos (there's 187 and that's only selected ones!:o) onto Facebook. I know you're not on there, but if you PM me your email address I can send you a link thing that should let you see the pics
I had to go for a (as far as I'm concerned pointless) xray today - which was fun(!). It meant they had to manipulate my ankle into the (very painful) positions needed for them to get clear pics. On top of the trauma from the slip last night, it's a bit much. But it made me get over my fear of taking the painkillers (since the "OD" incident I've been cautious, which hasn't been helped by finding out the effects they have on your stomach - quite besides having IBS) and am dosed up again. Even tho I'm in some immense pain and nothing's really changed since I did it (I'd love to see just some improvement! Even if it's just being able to move my toes) I think getting out of the house for just half an hour or whatever did help my mood a bit. I think I've also resigned myself to not being able to get any further help and just having to get on with it, so I'm almost a bit more at ease with the situation rather than pure frustration of trying to be proactive about my recovery, iyswim?

Bless you lw. Have you got msn messenger or anything? If not what about getting it? I'd be happy to chat to you on there, and I'm sure pcl's the sameThere's little games you can play against each other on there too...if that's at all appealing?
You guys are immense. :A It's great to get some sympathy/empathy from people who actually get it, and what a struggle it is when something else happens on top of what we already have to deal with."I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -

How annoying, sounds simple and you've probably already thought of/tried it, but have you tried resting it on a wheat bag or similar? Might help a little? I've done the slipping-whilst-using crutches, it was in the lab at college, and there was one half of a slide on the floor, crutch was on it, and whooosh, right into table  Also, have you tried peppermint oil? I have some IBS probs and painkillers obvs. don't help that, peppermint oil helps with pain up to a point for me anyway. Really hope you start to see some improvement, even if it is "only" in pain levels soon!0 -
