I used exactly these words in a post on here around 3 weeks ago and I've seen others say similar things when comparing themselves to others. But surley what matters is that I/you(?)/we feel awful because how we feel now is so much worse that how we felt when we were well?

Please don't compare yourself to others if it makes you feel so bad, compare yourself to how you should feel and be convinced that you have every right to feel low.

brain fog is my friend aswell!!!! do any of you use facebook, that is also my friend. i wish i had found this sooner its a great place to just got things of your chest and able to be yourself, its great to be understood, and it doesnt matter about the spelling mistakes as you all understand brain fog!!! shame its not a real cafe, it would be great to actualy meet over coffee !!!

I also have ME and they think I've had it for at least 11yrs now, but I only got diagnosed in the last couple of years since I got too ill to carry on working and realised there was a reason for me always being so tired and frequently ill...:rolleyes:

Sammy, I hope you don't mind me saying, but it seems like you get a bit down and worried about this just before you have a seizure - as your post after this one had the messed up writing again - which seems to happen when you're about to have a seizure? I hope that you know, when you don't have "eppy brain" that you are more than welcome here. There's nothing "only" about epilepsy - in fact I was saying only the other day to DH how I really feel for you and that it's one thing having my conditions, but to have epilepsy I think would be so much scarier. Plus, there are a lot of things/symptoms in common between epilepsy and fibromyalgia and I'm sure that you suffer a lot of the same kinds of things as we do... in short, please don't doubt that we enjoy having you here or that you don't fit in. We want you here and would be upset if you left, especially just as we are beginning to get to know you

Love the dress and colour scheme - bridesmaids look great too - and a very nice motor - did you have a bloke with a red flag walking in front?

P.s. morag was it your daughter you were saying was getting married soon? If you want to know anythign about our plans or how we did it on our budget feel free to ask away. I think we brought it in about £4k in the end - our original budget was £5k
