  • jazzi accidentally got the ask toolbar with some other program which redirectd ll my searches etc pita. tbh as far as ie goes, even if you get it fixed i would suggest not going back to it, its the easiest browser of all to hijack or infect. i use winpatrol nowdays to keep track of any changes to progrms, its super and barks at me when something tries to change my home page, or default search and only allows it to go ahead if i say it s ok. i cant help with your ff problem, i was having to refresh the page if it had been open for more than a few mins at a time before i could click on links etc again, but brand newly opened window/tab links worked fine.. other place to ask is the tech board here maybe.

bz hope the pain has settled down some.

i guess im not going to be around much over th enext couple of weeks, i was wrong this computer cant even handle two tabs open at the same time and every time i try to change a page the whole browser crashes and quits responding resulting in at least 30mins trying to get it to end program and restart. i can keep up wth facebook publisher updates form my desktop ( but not the group wall) so may manage to keep up with some of you that way....

Oh yeah, I wouldn't go back to IE now. Much prefer firefox. :) Toolbars are devils, and should be banned! Always cause hassle and take up space! Will have to post on the tech help board at some point, just being lazy at the mo!

Aw, sorry your computer problems aren't sorted. :(

Thanks dude. :) I will tell more about honeymoon (hopefully with pics) when I'm not quite so worn out. Still catching up on sleep from what seems like forever ago.:o

Odd as it may sound, the pain is the least of my worries atm. The spasm/twitches that I'm getting through my foot and leg are rather uncomfortable tho, and the persistant cough is peeing me off somewhat, and the achey muscles have even calmed a bit today - it's the general mehness of if that's doing my box in, and not having ANY energy to cope with it all is driving me insane. It takes SO much effort just to get off the (rather low admittedly) couch and get to the loo and back... I just can't cope with all that, you know? The pain I can handle, I'm used to it iykwim? It's the not having the energy and strength physically to be able to deal with what I need to physically OR mentally/emotionally that's completely doing my box in....:o

Glad to see you popping in again veggyboy. We worry you know :o At least now we know why it's a bit less worrying almost. If that makes any sense?

Well here l am tentvely back in the land of the living!Had what oncologist called an extreme reaction to the first chemotherepy-basically thought l was dying -ended up in hospital for 5 days then out for a day and back into diff hosp for a night! My white cells did a nose dive -family etc had to gown up and had masks and gloves to wear in the room.
Have been to see the Oncologist this morning and told her l have decided not to have any more chemo and she agreed it was a sensible decision.so opting for just pallative care and hope to enjoy some quality time with the family.
So havent had a chance to read back all the pages so forgive me-
welcome to all new friends and hi to oldies -hope all doing well.
:j this money saving is such fun:T
