Dragon I didn't know about the kitchen duty! I'm happy to do the litter trays instead if that will do?

Better check with LW and Paw on that one :p

lw I've sent Dad away in sulks coz I get fed up with him waking me early. His wife is out for the day on Wednesday so I'll take him out for lunch so he's not on his own the whole time. When I'm poorly, I tend to hibernate a bit and I'm sufficiently recovered to be able to manage OK myself.

I know the hibernation feeling well! I hope you enjoy your lunch on Wednesday (and are up to being out and about - with not tooooo many ouches!) :o

Cool....that's where we went for our honeymoon...even though we live in Scotland!

If anyone wants a fab cottage google "Hendersyde" near Kelso. Absolutely magic.

Our flipping fridge freezer broke down....sigh....so we have lots of food to finish up. Yay!
sorry to hear that fridge/freezer has broken down ..perhaps we can use it here ( we do pretend food ) lots of jacket potatoes earlier with 1001 different fillings..i had just plain butter and cheese.

Ooh, I've just been referred to Hydrotherapy and was curious to what happens during it? I've been to a hydro pool at a spa, is it like that? Someone said something about someone getting in with you - is that the case? What do they do? Also how deep is the pool? I'm tall (5'11) and get very uncomfortable if my neck/upper back is out the water. It gets cold and painful. I assume it won't be that deep though?

Sorry for the million questions! I'm not even sure if I'm supposed to post in this thread - do you have to be a member?
i had ago ..it's set at quiet a high temperature which is nice ..i joined in with 5 other's ..we had to sit about 20 mins first to get use to the heat drinking the free water..which gave us time to talk to each other..beffore we where called to pool think you only have about half an hour in the pool.shallow going a little deeper.we used floats and did lots walking up and down.when we came out we showered then had to sit for another 20-30 mins to cool down and drink water .before you allowed to go . i might type to get back in, as found out they do a special session for only chronic spondylosis sufferers ! when i feel i can pick up the phone that is !

Jazabelle you became a member by joining in :D, we started off getting club numbers but it sorta fell by the wayside - so the only membership requirement is to join in and have fun! (oh and if you can help keep the animal bowls full and take your turn in the kitchen that would be good too :rotfl:)

yes, just start nattering and put kettle on ! watch out for the animal bowls and there food is to the left and our's in on the right..:rotfl:

Not a beer or wine fan, I'm afraid. A bottle of vodka will do ;)

Please don't do the tray bake in the litter trays :D

Evening all and welcome to Jaz and Sammy. I'm late again cos life in the RW got in the way of more fun things like nattering in the cafe. Things should ease off soon though so I'll be able to join you all at a sensible hour ;)

  • Sammy Hope you are OK and resting.

Morag promise no mucky tray bakes!

Struggling a little tonight. I find the late afternoon from 4ish to 7pm really difficult to get through and have been unsettled all evening. Still, tomorrow is another day.
I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to break :D
