CWTA don't worry there's footage of all the important bits :)

Those of you on fb i.ve put some pics on the group thing, and you'll be able to see any i get tagged in by family and friends too :)

  • welcome jaz and sammy,

cwta hope today is indeed a new day that leaves you feeling better.

jaz i saw your question about diet in tother thread...one of the ladies in my aqua aerobics class at the gym noticed a great improvement when her diet was all fresh ingredients cooked from scratch and fresh fruit etc. improvement to the point were she was able to put her sticks away. it started on a holiday and afaik she tried to keep it up afterwards.

morag hope things do ease off soon. i sometimes wish i could dispose of rw completely, pretend is much nicer :)

animals have chicken this morning. kettle is on and juice is squeezed.
  • jaz My Sister had some info on a diet that was supposed to be of help - i'll try to remember to get the details from her if you are interested?

I need coffee this morning please? Had a very disturbed night. Dad's wife had to call an ambulance for him as she thought he had another stroke. He refused to go to hospital and has doc coming in this morning. Debated whether to post this or not as if my life was a soap storyline it wouldn't be believable! But I need my friends :o

How are you doing today pcl? And is that little darling whitney OK?

bz The sun really shined on you! The piccies are wonderful - that cake is stunning (as were you).
I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to break :D

Thanks that would be great. :)

Oh no, that's horrible. Have you heard from the doctor yet? So sorry to hear that and hope the news is good.

  • Jaz Nah, his wife asked me not to go over until the Doctor had been. He's 85 and has been fading on and off for a year now and Sister and I have had a couple of conversations where we both feel we need to make the most of him being here now. I had a brief word with him and, although he's been a vital man all his life, he sounded like he had given up the fight. I'm a real Daddy's girl and have been my whole life :o
Sis is gonna come down this weekend and will probably stay with me so they don't have too much fuss and can keep the house quiet for him.

Meanwhile there is a distinctly Autumnal feeling in the air - so soup is the way to go at lunch I think (with fresh baked bread)

    Carrot and Caraway
    Butternut Squash
    Scotch Broth
    Tomato
    Chicken Noodle

    The evening choices will be

    Beef casserole
    Vegetable curry
Chilli (both con Carne and con Veggie!)
Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup :D
