had black paw round ( Labrador" Hattie" brother's dog ) call her black paws because when i sleep there she always wakes me up with a paw. brother has moved house and mum has been looking after her. i volunteered to bath shower her for her return home, as my bath is very low and she can just jump in and out. nice white bathroom gone and nice dark shade of black ! one very shiny coconut smelling dog ! just waiting for the fur to dry on walls ceiling ect to drop, to have nice thick black large bath mat ! to hoover up. dog well pleased to see dad

Good evening all, permission to come aboard ? I have just put she who must be obeyed to bed , arthritis and a fused ankle you know,and am sitting here with a mug of green tea....so relaxing before bedtime...

Good to see you grumpy (and ouch! I have a shattered ankle so know where you are coming from), right looks as though I am on breakfast and lunch shift today so Full English? Veggies options available as well (Quorn sausage, hash browns, mushrooms, tomatoes, baked beans, eggs done how you like them!)

Veggie all day brekkie with fried eggs it is young Wolf , hmm I think I might go for poached eggs on toast myself

Please feel free to pass by this post ..... I've come in for a virtual scream and chill out as the last few weeks have not been great at all!! I can drink a whole bottle of brandy here too without ill effects :rolleyes:!

I just want to get on with life, the best I can, as happy as I can, but this year has been full on slog all the way so far and still has way to go before things will be able to get calmer. I'm sure I can't be the only one who tries to keep positive around others regardless, not to go on about the health problems, aches, pain etc, yet are accused of being moody and all sorts if so much as sitting quietly when in pain or so exhausted or whatever that you could cry in actuality?

Just lately, everyone seems to know how I am better than me with everything .... and therein lies the crux - I never know from 1 hour (minutes on bad days) to the next how I am so how do they know more than me about it?!! From where I am right now, seems that they decide these things based on what they want to do etc as it's usually said with a "because you can't/don't /won't want to" kind of thing in tow. I know disabilities DO affect others (and do my best to limit this), but please give me a voice in things is all I ask. If I do certain things, I get told "you should have asked", but when I do and HAVE asked for help, the things don't happen anyway which is why I've ended up tackling them in the first place too - what do you do???!!!

So, I'll sit out on the patio, with a large bottle if you don't mind, and watch with envy as the swifts and swallows soar so gracefully in the blue skies above. I won't bite (or growl even) if you want to join me!!

hugs Bluedog - I am so lucky with Dr Dragon and the majority of my friends as even though I try not to complain they can SEE I am in pain and try and help as much as they can.

Rant away and I'll bring some more brandy out for you
