I think there were about 30 people there - they limit the numbers so as not to stress the wolves out. I went with Mr LW, and we took loads of pictures.

There are 5 wolves - Cheza and Peyto who are 8 year old brothers, the female Sefka, who is a little younger than the boys, and Cheza and Sefka's daughters, Kaya and Aiyana, who are 3 years old.

If anyone's interested, you can see them at http://www.anglianwolf.com

I had already googled for it! and I noticed they said that you have to phone and make an appointment to go - which sounds good to me - I think even at safari parks where the animals have more space to roam the number of people going through must be stressing for the animals

Thank you to all of you for your kindness. It's very much appreciated.

Dragon - the mini Bluedog's are more or less grown up now, though it doesn't make it any lesser shock or stress to them all. Long story, cut short is that he was my ex-husband & we got back together. Eldest 2 live with him, youngest (20 yrs) with me until he goes to uni in september. The younger 2 saw what was written and can't believe how "normal" he's been with me in light of what's said to her and in a kind of way, that he's betrayed them in the process as well through what he's done under their noses too. (apparently even bit DS's head off for being on the pc the other night and made it clear he wanted to get on it ... and did!) They know there's no going back this time and agree I'd be a complete fool for thinking about it let lone trying. When he finally talked to DD about it, she knows what he's said to her is absolute bunkum so struggling very much so with it all. Took him until last night to get round to talking to DS, but even that was just a brief message or 2 on Facebook! Mind you, I think he had a shock himself at how quickly I smelt - and found - the rat!!!

LameWolf - so kind of your offer to howl with me. I've had a look at the site you've posted too - fantastic work they are doing.

Bluedog, my friend, methinks there's a reason he's your ex-husband, eh?

You deserve better than this, as do the bluepups. I'm soooo angry on your behalf.
It'll take a while to get back your equilibrium I guess, but if you want someone to howl with, I'm your Wolf.

Welcome back Dragon. I hope your week away has been good.

Cheese toasties sound good - it's gone a bit chilly here today.

Grief..its all been happening whilst I have been away:rolleyes: Hugs to Bluedog and to LameWolf for differing reasons.

I just came in to slob on the sofa, am feeling sorry for myself after having my op last Thursday. I opted for a general anaesthetic and now I am paying for it by being sleepy all the time and having no energy to do anything even eat:rolleyes:

Ex OH picked me up from the hospital and made me feel like an inconvenience - if only I had £40 on me then I could have got a cab but I only had a fiver, there was no way I could have managed two buses. Anyway, he went back to London today and I know it sounds mean but I breathed a huge sigh of relief because now I can do what I want to do without having to tidy up after him and I don't have to suffer him poking around in my stuff. His idea of helping is to open every single envelope and read the contents of my mail:mad: so I put my foot down and said that I would do my own tidying up when I was in the mood for it. Oh what a whinger I am when there are folks worse off than me:rolleyes:

I think I will just sit quietly in the corner with my glass of elderflower presse and watch the world go by.

Sit and take it easy Horace; save your energy for the important things (and yes that does include eating).

 at anyone else reading your mail - the only time I read Mr LW's is if I tell him an envelope's arrived for him and he asks me to open it (he rings me from work twice a day to check I'm OK and I tell him if Postie's been). What a nerve!

I am feeling a little better today - I just fancy eating some stodge only its been raining today so I havent been bothered about going out and getting some from the local shop.

I hate people poking around in my stuff - I think its a bloomin' cheek to go snooping mind you that's how his mother found some compromising pictures of me by snooping in his flat, she had them laid out on the table when he got home from work:eek::rotfl: So he should know that I don't like snoops plus I don't want him to know my business.

Have done a bit of work on here but now I am thinking about ringing the hairdresser as my hair badly needs a wash and I cannot wash it on doctors orders - I am sure that I will feel 100% better if I had my hairwashed.

I think I will just sit in the corner and watch the world go by and maybe have some roobarb crumble and custard if there is any going spare.
