Trust me I wasn't even thinking about disobeying! I seem to be in bed for two or three hours, then up for the same length of time! :eek:Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

I'll join you Dragon.
I'm so excited today as I've spotted a red kite flying high above my house this morning! They were released into the wild in a conservation area about 60 miles from where I live and we go there regularly to visit our relatives ...... and to see them too!! We saw a kite few miles away on 2 separate occasions very recently so have been vaguely hoping they are moving out this way - looks promising, yaaayyyy!!
These birds fascinate me and are just so awesome to watch. I'm so easily pleased, lol.
I've been very busy catching up with some gardening and planting. I'm having to admit that my neighbour was right afterall ... I have too many plants - again. Anyone want any tomato, cucumber and herb plants????!!! Last year these were total failures so I sowed more this time and am swamped with them ... .0 -
Well folks, I've been lurking not posting but have been not too bad this last few weeks. Could be because I've retired:T
I have a handbell concert on Sunday at Fisher Theatre in Bungay (3pm) All invited :cool::cool:
I've even managed to plant tomatoes and runner beans.
So the cafe is really looking spruced up and has gorgeous music in the background ( played on handbells!)

I've brought some delicious Orkney cheese home with me, so maybe we could use some of that in today's menu.
I've also got a selection of Orkney beers - including one called Dragonhead
Sorry I didn't check in straight away when I got back, but I was laid up for several days with what seemed like food poisoning. No idea where i could have got it.Mr LW was fine, so it's a bit of a mystery.
Am OK(ish) now though.
I've just put a couple of gallons of elderflower wine into demijohns to ferment. So something to look forward to in the future.;)If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Sorry I havent been in for a while, I have been busy working (or at least trying to work) and spending money (some have been necessary business spends and some have been "I can't really afford it but I am going to have that shiny new watch" type of spends:eek: I dont need to buy another watch now for the rest of my life:j
I shall probably be disappearing for a goodly while during July as whilst I was at the eye hospital on Wednesday, we discussed the cataract surgery again (it will be of no benefit to me but they need to be able to see the back of my eye and they can't see that at the mo:rolleyes:). My consultant said that he would do it next year as he didnt want it to impact on my business until I reminded him that next year it will impact on the business and that it was better to have the op sooner rather than later - so on 16 July I shall be lying on the slab spark out whilst he operates:eek: Its one op, I refuse to be awake for as it is going to be really tricky (why can't I be normal, why do I have to be the problematic case?).
Just having a slurp of elderflower lemonade...its jolly nice.0 -
Horace, make sure to remind us again nearer the time, so that we can keep relevant digits/paws etc crossed for you.
I've overdone it over the weekend (again!!!!) so feel totally carp today. I'll just grab a nice cup of Earl Grey tea, and go and sleep in my basket I think. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0
