I have not seen any of the tv ads, but there is a 'tv video' on the Babyliss site ... maybe this is the one? http://www.babyliss.co.uk/straighteners_2034u.html
This is the Pro 230 radiance, which is over £80 on amazon. See it here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/BaByliss-Pro-230-Radiance-Straightener/dp/B001CBWAU4/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&s=drugstore&qid=1224192414&sr=8-6 Being a man, I can't see a lot of difference between this pro 230 and other pro 230 apart from its colour! No doubt there is more to it than that!I have gained from advice as well as bargains here, so if I can help in any way, I am only too pleased to do so and appreciate your thanks.0 -
It was Babyliss Pro Radiance on the TV
I got the pro 230 from Tesco Direct for about £29 - fab, v pleased0 -
I'm slightly confused here. Are the ones in Argos @ £29.?? the ones which are good, as good as GHDs? I want to get some for my DD2, DD1 recently bought herself some pink GHDs but they cost her a whopping £120 but I have to admit they are really good. I don't really want to pay £100+ if I can get something just as good for £29.0

I've got very thick wavy hair, I've had the GHD's and when they broke I bought the babyliss 230's, in my opinion the Babyliss ar equally as goodI am a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Wales, Small Biz MoneySaving, In My Home (includes DIY) MoneySaving, and Old style MoneySaving boards.
