I had Ghds, which died couple of months back and now I m planning to get a new pair, was thinking between GHD mk4/ BaByliss Straightener, 2034U Pro 230.

But yesterday, I had gone to House of Fraser and there was someone who was demonstrating hair straighteners and Hair stick curlers, and I must say I was impressed, but Before putting £££ on it, I thought I will go thru some reviews on the net, and then buy it. But I have forgotten its brand name now, it is sold in USA for $300 and was on a promotion in the UK for £100, many people were buying it, can anyone who has bought it, pls let me know the brand and feed back on how they r finding it? I was also looking to buy the curler stick which was on a promotion for £79.

I know it is a long shot, but thought of giving it a try!

Also what do u reckon between GHD & Babyliss pro-radiance.

Thanks in advance for all your feedback!

  • Hi

Which are the best ones to buy?

    The Elegance or Radiance?

DD has very frizzy hair and uses my GHDs, so would like to get her some of these for Christmas, but not sure about the steam with the radiance, would this not make her hair more frizzy?

    please help, Thank you

Yep just bought Bablyiss Pro Radiance 230's from Boots for under £50 the other day, they also come with a 5 year guarantee! Which is very good!

I haven't used them yet though so do know what they are like.. They are meant to be an Xmas present from my mum and dad as my 2 year old GHDs are on the brink.... which I paid over £100 for when I bought them and are just out of guarantee so would have to pay to get them repaired...

Think that speaks for itself really, as going on other comment the babyliss radiance are good! I can't wait to use them! :j
