I bought a pair of Babyliss pro 230 when my GHD's went to straightener heaven.

IMO they are equally as good as GHD's - just a lot cheaper! I am very happy with mine.

Found its similar price in argos, so I've just cancelled my amazon order for the PRO 230 2085U (my daughters christmas present) and got it from currys instore instead. Price matched against argos at 110% difference = £26.44 paid!! REAL bargain now! Just took my reservation ticket along with me to prove in stock!

dixson and currys are the same company and both have them in stock but at different prices but i noticed that the picture on the currys and dixsons one look different to the argos ones the babyliss sign is on the side of the ones from argos and the babyliss sign is on the top of the ones in dixsons and currys also the max temp on the ones in argos say they goto 230c and the ones from dixsons and currys goto 220c so are they the same?

dont want to get them if they are not as good as the ones in argos.

I know the pics are slightly diff, but the manufacturers code in currys is the same as at amazon ie. 'PRO 230 2085U', whereas argos simply says 'pro 230'. Doubtless one or two currys employee will jump on that, unless you've actually picked up the argos ones and are prepared to take them back for refund!.

I got them in Curry's too.
I took in an Argos reservation and Amazon screen print. They said they could only match local shops, but as I had already reserved them, they did the deal.
Bargain for under £26.50.

went to currys and they price matched them £26.44 bargain, i also phone currys up before i went and they do have a error on the web site they do goto max temp of 230c not 220c that they have put so they are going to correct it asap.
