Back up to £29.49 now, that reduction didn't last long.

thats a shame - i went for the radiance ones in the end anyway - seduced by the idea of my hair staying straight for twice as long lol
  • Hi ladies

I have just seen this thread on the Pro 230 Straightners. I currently use Thick plate straigtners (they are years old Toni & Guy) and was thinking of going for a GHD Thick Plate as a treat.

My hair is shoulder length and quite thick, so for those of you that use the Pro 230 Babybliss would these still work well.

At £24.50 they are a real bargain.

Thanks in advance for any advise

Not sure if the exact model (I am a man after all!!), however Boots are doing the Babyliss Pro 230 Straightener instore and online for £29.99, reduced from £59.99. With this there are obviously loads of points to be gained, such as 350 when you spend over £35

Just ordered these from Amazon as I had a £5 voucher to use, so £19.50, bargain. Thanks OP.

I use the Babyliss Pro Elegance 230 (the bronze ones) and can't recommend them enough! (I have the thickest most unmanageable hair ever - ask my hairdresser!).

I'm off to Florida next week and have bought the Babyliss Pro Ceramic 210 Worldwide straighteners (as they're dual voltage) and when I tried them out yesterday I was very impressed.

So I would imagine, from my experiences with the above Babyliss straighteners, that any of the Babyliss range would perform well.

Thanks everyone for your advise, I have purchased the Babyblis 230 straighteners and am very pleased with results.

I have one question, when the device is switched off the handle part remains warm so this doesn't seem normal, do your do the same

    cheers

Hi Sexy Legs- mine does that too. I just unplug it anyway - scared my kids will get hold of it!!
  • i have afro hair and YES these ones inparticular are amazing and a lot better than ghd as they have a great heat setting so you dont have to burn your hair. They also have a steam setting that is great for afro hair!
    i suggest you try them.
