I do need to get out more Shaun.:rotfl:
It could be worth one of you going in the car with shopping list and price comparison of everything you need.Or if you and a couple of mates were to get together and split petrol costs would also help. Asda sound good and i bet all the shops will be looking at getting around stuff soon with the way the economy is shaping.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Looks like everyone is doing well on the shopping bargains - reminded me too that I'd better get my list done tonight ready for Friday evenings dash rond Tesco. I have £21.80 left so I can go mad! LOL!
Bob - I take it your friend would recognise you from here if she was to read the boards? If she does, and she asks you about it, I reckon your only approach is a veiled warning - you know the sort of thing "yes, I do have a diary on there, but obviously you won't be talking about it to people any more than I would be discussing your private financial business with people, would you!" - certainly no way should you end up feeling that you can't post and be open about stuff - god knows everyone needs a sounding board sometimes.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Congratulations on your 10,000th post .
Got some bargains at tesco today too. Clothes at 20% off and exchanged £15 of clubcard vouchers for £30 vouchers towards clothes so got £50 of clothes for £10 cash and DH paid as more of the clothes were for him. He got jeans, work shirts, socks, I got 2 t-shirts, DS has new shorts and trousers and DD has new dress, top and socks. So it still worked out as a NSD for me:p.The person who moves a mountain begins by carrying small stones.

She may well do so EH, as there are a few clues re real life situations as is the want with diaries and stream of consciousness etc. I would say something along those lines too there is some of me that just wants to escape sometimes...without having to explain myself:oBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
