ok...deal! Will go find it! Taken from the classic 1000 cake and bake recipes; wendy hobson (fab book by the way)

    Turnip bread

100g/4oz/1 cup strong plain bread flour
    100g/4oz/1/2 cup caster sugar
    1/2 tsp bicarb/baking soda
    1/2 tsp baking powder
    1 tsp ground allspice
    pinch salt
    1 egg, lightly beaten
    4oz cooked turnip puree
    4 tblsp oil

Mix tog dry ingredients and make a well in the centre; blend egg, turnip and oil and mix into dry ingredients. Spoon into greased 1ibs loaf tin and bake in preheated oven at 180/350f/gm4 for 1 hour - scewer will come out clean when done.

Banking done and forgot to pay out some stuff as was rushing but will sort it out later ( still time) and that's about it. Just waiting to hear what my timetable will be like..and it had better be full! I vant ze dosh:cool:

Hope you all have a good weekend, am thinking of going camping...tis the only way i will get some sleep..just hope there are no exploding chicken factories nearby oh and no Mr.B snoring either:cool::rotfl:

Take them down the park Shaun, always worked for me at that age. They can run some energy off. Or get a mini paddling pool and have a mad/barking half an hour splashing about.:D

    Hope it improves for you.:A
